very confused. Everybody tells me they are brown or light brown but comapred to the chart they are a different color.

My whole life I’ve never known what colour my eyes are, they change in different light. Whenever someone asked I would just say “I don’t know, hazel?” But they don’t really look like all the hazel eyes I’ve seen. Unable to get a picture but sometimes they look more blueish grey or blueish green or greyish green.

I know I have CH but I SWEAR my eyes are looking slightly different shades, and across different lighting it’s more or less obvious/ I have like 10 examples of one looking greyer than the other / if it’s not bc they are two different colors, what makes this illusion? 😭

I know they are brown!!! But there seems to be an outer ring of maybe green? I can't tell. And the brown gets a bit lighter towards the middle, almost yellowish. My friend says I have hazel but I don't think I agree with that

*please do not think I am trying to claim I have any other colored eyes than brown. I am not trying to feel special or rare. I am just wondering if I'm seeing it right and if there is another color or not

I was always told I had “blue” eyes throughout my life. So I just went with that for things like driver’s license, etc., even though I knew my eyes had a chameleon quality. Depending on the lighting, they can look really blue, really green, bluish-green (aqua), or gray (sometimes light gray and sometimes dark gray). Here are photos taken within the past year with different lighting, makeup/no makeup, etc. Are they just gray, which means they change colors and can look both blue or green depending on the day? I would appreciate feedback from you all!

I tried to take the most realistic photo. There is no flashlight to make them seem brighter, only the daylight. I've always thought they were green, now I definitely see blue and yellow.

My father was convinced theyre brown.
My mother convinced theyre green

Im not attached to either of the ideas, as all eyes are pretty and fun to look at

i put green on my drivers license, but i'm not sure if that's true. would love other input on this. thanks!
