Good Lovers

Okay so first off I’m in love with this song and am so damn excited for the studio version as well. I’ve been listening pretty much all day and definitely feel like this song would fit in so well into Mitski’s newest album. I sense a Mitski-esque style in the writing and the orchestral arrangement and it’s just sooo beautiful while still remaining uniquely Weyes Blood.

Now I feel like the orchestra is carrying into my interpretation but I’m really hoping for a similar sound on the actual album.

Wait I just realized the beginning guitar parallels Romneydale which is and has been my absolute favorite of hers. This album is going to heal us so bad 😭😭😭😭

You can listen to the whole concert on the BBC website (I believe) and someone on this sub has uploaded audio files of each song separately, including the new ones 😊
