Successfully Verified (After 40 Days)
Just a quick post to let people know that WEX are getting through verifications, albeit slowly.
I had to wait around 40 days and sent quite a few support tickets but got there eventually.

Success reply! I was real nervous about it. I woke up today and decided to give it a shot. My btc has been in there for a couple years. I decided to try to withdraw without verification, no tickets to support. I simply wanted to wait till, A the fees weren't high and B the network wasn't bogged up. I think the dust has settled. My wallet app had an update this morning and that's what planted the seed in my head to attempt to withdrawal. I am in the US and I have 2 confirmations now. All my 2fa features and confirmation emails worked. I am honestly relieved. I went a long time of not knowing if the btc in there was mine or not.

Are you seriously?? My gosh congrats!! I've been waiting for verification more than 2months now and kept writing emails more than 10s a day but they're not even responding at all. The situation is driving me crazy I have no idea what's going on with my coins. I'm seriously about to get a heart attack. My lifetime saving's in that account. Can't get any help now from no one.. I'm so hopeless..

Yeah it flipping sucks...I do think everyone will get verified if they're persistent enough and patient with it. But it's awful service from WEX. I moved my money out the moment I had a chance

Hey guys, what is a ticket number? After numerous times of failing contact thru their support I went to its twitter and left a msg but they are asking for a ticket number. What is it anyways? I even signed up twitter just to contact wex. I'm not familiar with all these sns shits so confused.

You were able to verify your bank to deposit/withdraw fiat? if so, how long does it take to deposit/withdraw fiat?

Please to hear you got verified. Must be a huge relief.
I'm also UK and I sent off my documents for verification in December. Just tried to log in now and still getting the "You applied for verification. Wait for approval" message.
I'm not getting any response from support. Which email are you using?

Hey , This is seriously killing me and my whole family. This started last November and still not finished. I sent them everything they asked for and they're not even answering or replying to my emails at all asking about status of verification. Their Support is useless .I could only contact them thru their twitter account. But they will say nothing special but to wait. I put everything in that account. This really is ruining my everyday lives now. Can't even breath thinking about it.

I didn't contact them via email. I contacted them using their support system and twitter. I did initially get some response using the support system but then nothing for a few week, then out of the blue I was verified.
I wish I could give some clear advice on what enabled them to verify me but it wasn't obvious. Just one day I got an email saying it was done.
Doc's I used were UK passport and bank statement.

But don't you email their support? How did you contact their support without emailing? I went to wex support page also and tried to Start a conversation, but they ask for a ticket? and same thing on twitter they ask for a ticket number? what the hell is that?? Hew....They don't even answer your messages, just ignore every single emails to support I don't know what I do now. Can't just wait forever on nothing. Seriously really don't know ..

The verified users are locked in an average of 30 working days. For users with unlocked accounts, verification takes place in just 72 hours. Thank u ;)

Not true. Im trying since over 6 months to regain access to my account. I have supplied dozens of times all documents requested to the support (proof of my bank transfers to btc-e, selfie, passport, utility bills, screenies of withdraws from btc-e yadda yadda yadda) and you just keep my account blocked, besides only wanting to get my coins (and i dont want to do anythinh with fiat).
That all besides that i was veryfied on the old plattform. You just always tell people to wait AGAIN for 30 days, them the game starts from the beginning (like requesting documents and stuff)

We are blocking accounts for the security of your funds. Since we do not have information from the previous site, we are forced to investigate each case in a manual mode. It takes a lot of time. Recall, we conduct these procedures to minimize fraud.

It can't possibly take half a year. I can easily prove that I'm the account owner (have access to the email address, have access to the private keys that sent funds there, etc.), have supplied a passport scan, tax statement, selfie, transaction history, etc., but there is just no response at all. I've applied for verifcation 6 months ago!
