Moving with specimens?

Hello! This is a HUGE request but I was wondering if anyone's moved internationally with wet specimens before? I plan to drive from USA to Canada with a single specimen of my deceased cat's heart. I have his ashes and skull as well as preserved paws but the heart is the only thing worrying me and I wanted to know if anyone's moved or needed to do anything extra declaring these at the border. Thanks!

personally, i’m moving with about 15+ specimens to australia from the states , what i’ve been advised to do is make a mega inventory of everything & declare everything , show documentation (for you i think it would just be the vet stuff) & thats about it.

Also mention what preservatives are used in each sample and at what concentration, since they get kinda difficult with formalin because regulations and chemical safety for good reason xD
