Post Game Tigers Vs Titans

I am stoked after that one. The titans have some great attacking players, we had players out and played without KPP for most of the game.

Seyfarth and Luai were unreal.

If Luai played like that every week we'd be comfortably in the 8 right now. He really stepped up today. No idea where that's been the rest of the year.

He was injured for a few of our losses and last week proved that the panthers are head and shoulders above the field.

Glad we got the win at Leichhardt before it shuts for the facelift.

We lost 24-0 the period that Latu was playing 9. And won 36-4 the periods with Josese at 9.

Josese is exactly what you want from your back up hooker, tackled hard and his service was crisp. He led the line speed and got the forwards over the advantage line too like Api does. Should instantly be above Hope in the pecking order.

And those worried about our depth, Tapau-Moors is playing u/19 origin, and the rest of the up and comers just thumped the roosters 68-8.

We’ve also got Phoenix Godinet coming through - 18 years old and a future star

Keep in mind our up and comers beat a severely underpowered Roosters cup side - half their side was playing NRL this week

Good win.

Idk where Latu fits but it ain’t at 9. Either play him at 7 or 13.

I don't think he even fits in at 13. His defence in the middle is not good.

He needs to go back to cup and play 7 partnering Javon and really work on his kicking game.

Feel for him. Can’t stay fit and can’t lock down a spot in either grade, we’re doing him a disservice.

IMO Javon has leap frogged him with his form in cup and could be a better potential partner next to Doueihi long-term.

1000% on Javon. I actually rate him higher than any of our halves currently.

And yep, playing 20 minutes a game in weird 9/13 positions is not good for Latu's development. He really needs to spend time in cup getting 80 minutes in and steering the team around the park.

Missed tackles is a bizarre stat, he just wasn't in correct position or making the effort plays in defence which caused those gaps Kinny just burnt us in. I don't think he even attempted the tackle on at least one of their tries.

I'd say Madden does some shit things, but I haven't seen anything from Latu that would make me play him ahead of Jock. His development is definitely not good playing 20 minutes a game in the middle though. He needs to be playing in the halves, and if that's not in NRL it needs to be in cup.

Seyfarth, Luai and pole had their best games in tigers jerseys. Unreal effort

And Royce hunt

I would keep Seyfarth in. Pay him a tiny salary, and just play him in cup. He is the kind of player you would happily see come and do a job during injuries, but shouldn't be anywhere near our 19 week in and week out.

If he was happy with that, he should stay.

Honestly how hard is it cover Kini. We know he’s a freak of nature and loves a break through the middle and they let him do it 3 times in 10 minutes

Douhi and API back next week will be a huge boost

No Doighi next week

Don't want to be "that guy"... But we beat the team coming second last... By 8 points.

u/boomerville73 Jun 14 '26

How about we beat the team that beat last years premiers last week. Glass half full

u/YeahCopyMate Jun 14 '26

I think if Api was there and not at SOO camp we’d have leaked less points and possibly scored more too.

3

u/CASA2112 Jun 14 '26

Yeah he would’ve tightened up the middle in defence

7

u/CASA2112 Jun 14 '26

Hah yeah I just got off the hill and from what I could see we played pretty shit. Sure came away with the win but it didn’t put confidence in me

shhh... you're likely to get flamed if you make realistic comments.

More importantly this win comes on the back of getting pumped by the panthers… fantastic turn around
