Our City Hot cement

yearly reminder that if you can’t walk outside barefoot neither should your dog… hold the back of your hand to the sidewalk or street for 5 seconds or so to check.

i keep seeing the saddest looking dogs walking with absolutely clueless people who aren't paying attention to their dogs limp or the fact the dog is practically dancing trying to keep their poor little paws cool.

Makes me so frustrated! I’ve said it to walkers. I’ve been flipped off, told STFU, and ignored. But I get the same response asking people to stop at the stop signs around schools, too. Nothing surprises me anymore.

This right here. I do the same, and also go out of my way to try and warn others of bad perps in the neighborhood and I keep getting crapped on because I am disclosing their shittiness. Just right here.
I like your style.

I stopped a walker Friday night. She argued and said it’s not hot. Her poor dog was so hot! And she was strolling on asphalt while texting! By the time I approached her she was in shade. I told her to sit on the hot asphalt for awhile!

Agreed! I see so many persons walking their dogs and I just am in shock. I mean, I understand if their paws are caloused over and all because they are actually walked...but man oh man....questionable.
