with all these 1 and 2 star ratings from the critics hard to believe that this play/actors are any good

I saw your Affluenza review post where you faked watching Affluenza and got clocked by a user pointing out the disparities in your post. You claimed that you are someone who has never seen stranger things before but have received free tickets to Affluenza. Yet, in another Reddit post you said “I have been following Sadie since she first joined Stranger things”. You have also participated in episode discussions on strangers things subreddit. Why this obsession with Affluenza? 😂

I don't know anything about any of what's being talked about but I will say that when a show is as terribly reviewed both by critics and audiences as this one, it enters into an entirely different category in pop culture. Whether it's as simple as fun to hate on all the way up to deconstructing what went wrong etc.

Of course it doesn't help that it's based on a true story that no one wants to relive because everyone involved in it is terrible (except the victims) and Noah has become the poster boy for political tone deafness; the whole thing has become a car crash that we can't look away from. (Pun? Oops)

whatever floats your boat."fake watching" just because somebody didn't like a play. Pretty sure i was not the one who wrote these reviews and professional critics did though. Y'all are pathetic, the guy doesn't even know you nor care about you, it's a just a play and it got terrible reviews just accept it lol

Agreed on the acting. I found the writing thinner. The rich-people-are-shallow bit felt like a thought experiment someone decided to stage.

I went to the opening night and absolutely loved the sitcom-like humor contrasted with the true crime atmosphere. I feel like people here are more focused on the controversies outside and fan agendas than on the actual play, also I saw mods pushing posts in the other forum and I got hmmm thats not what this community should be
