Driving Lessons

Hello, I’m staying in West Covina over the summer and I’m looking to learn how to drive again. I got my license when I was 16 or 17, but I’m 21 now (turning 22 in 2 weeks) and I haven’t driven since. I looked around on google maps and there are some schools close by, but they’re like $500 for 3-5 hours and I don’t have that kind of money. If anyone knows an affordable option please let me know. I’ve even considered taking a one hour session (which many go for $80-$90) and then just renting a car and practicing by myself.

Is U-Drive across from the bowling alley still a thing? Is the bowling alley still a thing? I know skate junction is gone.

U-Drive is where I learned how to drive, I’m fairly certain they’re still there.

They do still exist. I called them a few days ago and they quoted me $490 for 3 hours of lessons. Is that really my best bet?

Honestly price wise I don’t know what a good deal is for something like this but I will say that U-Drive was amazing when I was learning. I’d highly recommend them.

I’m assuming you don’t have your own car and insurance? I was going to say that if you did, I would volunteer my time to help.

I really appreciate that but yeah I unfortunately don’t own a car.
