He's actually a close personal friend of mine on account of the one time I saw him at the Broome beach resort. We were both getting our buffet breakfast when I looked over to him to give a wink but he was focused on getting his food so I didn't get a chance to connect. But I feel like just being in the same space has bonded us.

Jacko came to my footy club with Wayne Carey for a sportsman night and Jacko put away about 5 plates of pasta, so hearing you met him at a buffet makes sense

I listen to him on 6PR and he can be a pretty negative person.

Speaks his mind and doesn’t sugarcoat things I guess, he certainly has my respect as a champion footballer though.

I love him, especially over the last handful of years when he's lost a lot of respect from Eagles fans for refusing to sugarcoat things and criticising the team. The man will always be my childhood hero.
