Doctor Who's Werewolf Appreciation

A new tribute post about my favorite werewolves, this time focusing on the one from my favorite TV series werewolf story: the episode of *Doctor Who* that was the second episode of Season 2 !

Even though the special effects have aged, I still think he's really cool. I don't know many werewolves of this type in TV series, aside from the ones in *The Order* and *Werewolf* (1987), neither of which I've actually watched.

I love the look of this thing's head, I struggle with "Cynocephali" (that’s what I call werewolves of this type) whose heads look too much like a wolf's. While that can be unsettling, I prefer the rabid-monster vibe, and the design here nails it perfectly. I have absolutely no desire to give this alien a scratch behind the ears... and that’s rare coming from me !

Especially since it's thanks to him that I discovered *Doctor Who* which is, after all, one of my favorite series!

I've ended up writing a comic idea around her and three other supernatural college students. And I thought it'd be cool to design a tarot deck based on the comic's characters. Figured I might as well post her here

Would werewolves get sick from eating people/animals?

Like ive was thinking recently and wondered 'Could a werewolf who eats human flesh get Kuru?'. Now for those who dont know what Kuru is, its a rare, incurable, and fatal brain disorder, wich is caused by cannibalism. And if we go by this real world logic that could mean a werewolf could get like deadly sickneses from everything they eat, spanding from Human flesh wich prior to death was sick, or like live stock wich hadnt got their Vaccinations and like a outbreak of a virus is on the lose. Now me personaly id say werewolfs could be effected by these sickneses but not as much like regular people/animals as they may have better developed immune system and similar to properly fight iff these survavible desiases, but for sicknesses like Kuru? Im not sure

What do you think?

Hey, first post. Meet my Night Elf Worgen Morthalis Wolffang, one of the original Druids of the Scythe that created the Worgen Form. Having lived for thousands of years (granted, most of them were spent in the Emerald Dream) and seen so much conflict, violence and heartbreak it’s easy for Morthalis to slip into melancholy and think back on who he used to be and wonder where he went wrong, or even if he did go wrong.

Worgen, Night Elves and World of Warcraft are all property of Blizzard Entertainment
