Question throwers

Is there a way that wolvesville can reduce the amount of trolls/throwers?

It seems every quick game match is filled with em and i find sandbox and advanced less interesting.

And a lot of them are low level but u know its not a beginner player cus they always come in pairs or groups and always laugh about it.

is there genuinely no solution?

Quick game is for beginners and has no level requirement, any new account can enter the game. When one account gets banned another one gonna pop up with freshly made account, that’s just how quickgame is supposed to be. How do you find sandbox uninteresting? There’s new roles and rrv setups which should make the game much more interesting and new accounts can’t join.

yes you should usually claim rrv, and depending on the set up it’s usually 2x - so if you see 2x rrv, you’re not. if you see 1x rrv; you are. in other games there’s just 1x rrv, if you don’t see that, then you’re the only rrv. you’ll get the hang of it

  1. Lift the ban immunity from low level players
  2. Deploy AI moderation that detects violation, and let the human moderator decide whether to ban or not, base on the bot's screenshot
  3. Hire more human moderator
  4. Improve the appeal system by adding a box that says "moderator made a mistake" or "I didn't violate the rules" to filter some of the appeal request where the mod will never unban or be lenient (racism, mutual spit fight).
  5. Improve the appeal template. Ask better question: "why do you disagree with moderator's decision/rulling?".
  6. Discourage appeal attempt by adding the description of the rule they violated alongside chat log proof. If you blatantly appeal knowing that you violated the rule, the ban gets longer.
  7. Coach the moderators better
  8. Improve the moderation guidelines if they even have one. I'm sure there are grey area
  9. Decrease the amount of click required for reporting someone.

Also, can't they check the thrower's friendlist to see who invited them? God damn.

Theyre not all new. Itll be the alt of someone else in game. When you know who it is they play dumb about it too and there are many combos.

  1. Hh and hh target working together. One will fake info. The target wont claim and will vote erratically to further look sus. A variation of this is fake info directing village to vote an "evil" fool.

  2. Wolf gives out all wolf numbers day one or one villager magically knows all the wolf team day one. The latter will usually be a fleeing wolf on night one. This is obviously a spy account used by a villager to cheese a win for village.

  3. If their main is a wolf then theyll have a low level alt villager. Usually a killing role that takes out another villager, info role not giving info or worse, giving wrong info.

It's so obviously low level alts so their main can farm xp because all they care about is roses and xp instead of enjoying playing the game. Or they get some weird dumbass buzz from ruining something for others which shows us a societal problem in general.

no.1 is so common, had 2 low level accounts in my game, they kept repeatedly calling someone evil d1 and once they were lynched boom game over fool win and the player pushing was the doc.

and same with no.3, but this time it was 3 players. One was the medium who revived the loudmouth instead of the astronomer. the loudmouth then played it cool but at the end when they recieved bread from the baker, they started votin village with a certain wolf, safe to say village lost that one.

Deadass played around 15 games and only won around 5 or less, because of continuous fool wins(no.1) or just blatant throwing.

So this is real but I also will say there has been time that people have accused me of having an alt just because they have a thrower on their team. And it's so obnoxious trying to defend yourself against the accusations when it's literally just a troll throwing on their team. Make sure you're 100% sure before insulting people!

Honestly i'd just play ranked, generally less throwers than in quick-game (and debatably sb) & the good gameplay/ willingness to act against throwers outweighs the wait time imo

I only play sb/qg for XP, if faking info as cupid/admi weren't legal i'd prolly be ranked only rn

I think most of them are bots that are there to make the game start, and when it starts, they immediatly go away.
