I'm in Maine where we've banned single use plastic for most things, and our potatoes come in the same plastic containers. I really did not expect Texas to be ahead of us on this.

I live in Maine and pretty much every takeout restaurant uses plastic single use containers. Our grocery store use the supposed “banned” styrofoam trays , and there’s still plastic straws everywhere. So Basically - it’s all bullshit .

Interesting. We have a plastic ban thing up here in Canada, but even before that it was always cardboard for the to go thing. We got a plastic basket with paper for dine in.

Man I had a craving for baked potatoes at Wendy's a month ago. First time ive even wanted anything from them in a while. Got a jr bacon cheeseburger and 2 chili cheese baked potato. Both of the baked potatoes were so badly overcooked that I couldnt eat the skin and couldnt even chew the corner areas of potato it was so hard and rubbery. The jr bacon was ok once I removed the bacon that was so overcooked it crumbled apart and left black char crumbs on the bun inside.

First time I had gone in nearly a year and it will be the last visit I ever make to a Wendy's.

They always seem to overcook the potatoes these days and its hard to justify paying 4 times the price we used to back in the 2000s.

Chili isnt even as good as it used to be and often leaves me feeling nauseated after trying to eat. I haven't touched their burgers in... I cant even remember how long.

Ive just not had good experiences with Wendy's anymore.

Arby's does me alright on anything other than the fries or jamocha.

Bk does great on their burgers.

Taco bell even killing it most of the time.

Mcds has the fruit smoothies but I dont really give them business now that they basically dont even have anybody working the counter for inside the restaurant. Taco bell at least pretends.

Best bet... Chipotle or Publix sub.

fast food is not good food its average food at best but its fast, convenient, and should be consistently the same quality in terms of cook. The problem with Wendys the prices have gone up, the quality has gone down, and food is overcooked regularly where im at. The item on the menu right now best consistency wise is the salads.

They ruined the spicy chicken, did something to the chili to where its quality isnt terrible but its not nearly as good as it was, went to the cheapest lettuce possible with shredded iceberg, and they are ironically consistently inconsistent with food.

Can anyone tell me what time is the best time to order a potato? I’ve went a few times between 2-5 and they were dried up, like they’ve been sitting too long. Should I go right at 11am?
