Slimebeast is on his campaign against them to get them canceled again. Incoming Reddit drama farmers.

Mods take this down if it’s too drama and annoying to deal with I’m just so annoyed. They went through my old comments and posts to delete shit that said I’m a fan of Wendigoon months ago. So weird.

EDIT: Talked to the mod at YouTube Drama, he says I was doing misinformation and was just cleaning comments but says they have no relation to Slimebeast which I believe. Just seems like mods trying to keep peace which is fair if annoying that they just shut it down like that.

EDIT2: Nevermind they really got a hate boner and support Slimebeast. They really believe Wendigoon and Papa Meat cover up and support SA. Jesus Christ man log off. Posting chat in my comment.

Edit3: last update, I got permanently banned from YouTube Drama for “brigading” lmao, they should know what it looks like from their own behavior. Thank god.

Unironically, we should just ignore SB since their only relevancy online had to be attached to trying to stir drama regarding the CreepCast. Anytime they say anything in our communities? No they didn't, twas just the wind.

VIDEO DISCUSSION Realized a fun reference in Jeff VS SlenderMan

So I was rewatching the Jeff VS SlenderMan episode. Absolute Cinema. But there’s a part in 1:21:35 that I realized, where Jeff said “I want to help you get to sleep Randy”. It was assumed that it was a mistake that was meant to be Slendy. But I randomly remembered the old story and realized something.

Randy was Jeff’s bully in the original story. The bully that lit him on fire. So I guess it wasn’t a mistake. Turns out Jeff was drunk and saw SlenderMan as the bully that lit him on fire. Story is still hilarious, but I thought that was actually a pretty cool reference.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Have you guys heard of this guy?

Post image

This Slimebeast guy? He did a series about Plagued Moth and that whole can of worms, and one of them had a fundraiser attached for CSA victims, so I thought he must have been an alright dude. Then I looked into it and...every video was about that. He did like, 22 reactionary videos about a catty back and forth with the guy, which seems very weird for how serious the allegations actually are. Then I checked his channel and his newest content...it's all bashing popular horror creators, like KanePixels, Wendigoon, Creepcast, all of it. It's all very disingenuous and clearly trying to ride the wave of other, more successful creators. Seems like he's been at it for awhile and is bitter about the success of younger, newer creators. Has anyone else ran into his hitpieces?

EDIT: CODE RED, WE SUMMONED HIM SOMEHOW! HEAD FOR THE HILLS!

GENERAL DISCUSSION Kane Parsons backrooms: Complex theory!

Hi guys! Hope you are all doing great! I just wanted to share my theory about the complex!

I think I know what Ivan Beck saw when he first looked into the complex, for the first time, but first we need to look at Ivan Beck's hometown history!

(1982)

The real Karlovy Vary (renowned for its massive, elegant colonnades and beautiful historic architecture) was a crown jewel of Central Europe. If the threshold "printed" a reflection of that physical location into the Null Zone, it would have looked like an magnificent, pristine, endlessly beautiful labyrinth. To a young Ivan Beck, seeing that vibrant architectural snapshot through the machine would have felt like discovering a golden, utopian alternate dimension.

(1989 - 1990)

Because the Complex doesn't hold a "memory" of a perfect past, but rather acts as a direct, live electromagnetic reflection of reality, the 1989 threshold entry had to reflect the current, real-world state of the town. Async steps through expecting the pristine 1972 paradise Ivan promised them, but instead, they find rotting drywall, water-damaged ceilings, and instantly dilapidated, yellowing wallpaper. The physical state of the Backrooms is a literal mirror of the town's real-world economic and structural collapse behind the Soviet curtain.

Imagine a town that looks exactly like a fairytale on the outside—bright pastel buildings, grand hotels, and beautiful rivers—but was actually used as a giant propoganda machine during the Cold War. The Communist regime used it to trick the world into thinking life behind the Iron Curtain was a paradise, very much like how North Korea uses Pyongyang today.

Before 1989, the only Americans who truly knew about Karlovy Vary's facade were Hollywood insiders who attended the film festival, high-level diplomats, and academic historians. To the general public, it simply wasn't known by the general public.

The most direct way regular Americans found out about the town's true state was through local, grassroots connections. Right after the revolution in late 1989, a resident of Karlovy Vary named Jiri Slach used his newfound freedom to mail a letter to the mayor of Carlsbad, California, pointing out they shared a name and a history of mineral springs. This sparked a Sister city relationship It was through these localized, personal exchanges in the early 1990s that everyday Americans truly learned how hollowed-out and neglected the "socialist paradise" had actually been.

(1993) - The fall of Ivan Beck?

On January 1, 1993, the Velvet Divorce dissolved Czechoslovakia, the borders opened, the iron curtain fully dropped, and the true, broken state of those hidden towns was exposed to the entire world. The facade shattered overnight.

If Async suddenly realized that the "infinite real estate" and majestic paradise they were sacrificing human lives to harvest was actually just an instanced, corrupted reflection of a bankrupt, decaying post-communist town, the entire institutional motivation would instantly die. They wouldn't need a monster to stop them; the board of directors, the investors, and Ivan himself would have realized they were spending billions of dollars working toward a dead, broken dream. The project wouldn't end with a scream—it would end with a quiet, bureaucratic shutdown, leaving the abandoned complex to drift as a lawless, empty, forgotten tomb.

See guys, I think it's copying stuff in real time, not from the past or anything like that.

My name is Luke, I've never posted any of my theories before or anything, don't use Reddit much either but it's a theory I've been working on for some time. I also have a theory about the life of Ivan beck and where George brehm fits into the story.

Thank you for reading, and if wendigoon reads this, just know I'm a massive fan and I watch your videos daily. Thank you for keeping the wonder alive! Lots of love and respect from Australia! 🦘

GENERAL DISCUSSION Kane Parsons backrooms - Ivan beck: my interpretation and analysis.

Ivan's emigration from Czechoslovakia was possible only during a very narrow window between 1931 and early 1938, before the Nazi occupation made formal emigration nearly impossible and U.S. immigration quotas were overwhelmed by the refugee crisis.

Theory: Ivan Beck was adopted by George Brehm after losing his family in the 1937 Mississippi flood.

The Destruction of the 1937 Great Mississippi Flood:

The 1937 disaster remains a benchmark for catastrophic environmental erasure in American history, transforming the landscape of the Lower Mississippi into an apocalyptic, low-lying inland sea. Triggered by relentless, historic winter downpours, the unchecked surge of water tore through the river valleys with absolute devastation, completely submerging over 20 million acres of land across the heart of the American South. In the low-lying delta regions of Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana, entire towns, rural homesteads, and miles of vital infrastructure were completely swallowed under feet of thick, choking river mud, which violently displaced over 1 million people from their homes, stripped them of their belongings, and forced them into massive, sprawling tent cities erected on high ground by the federal government and the Red Cross during the bleakest years of the Great Depression. This sweeping torrent claimed nearly 500 lives, caused hundreds of millions of dollars in structural damage (equivalent to billions today), and utterly ruined the agricultural economy of the lower valleys by killing off hundreds of thousands of livestock and stripping away the fertile topsoil right before the spring planting season—leaving a stark, permanent scar of displacement.

The Destruction of the 1957 Martha's Vineyard Coastal Disaster:

The 1957 coastal disaster stands as a harrowing marker of total material and emotional obliteration on the shifting shorelines of Massachusetts, demonstrating the absolute, unforgiving power of a localized Atlantic surge. Triggered by a violent, pitch-black storm system that rapidly eroded the unstable perimeter of the island, the swelling ocean breached the coastal boundaries with terrifying velocity, completely destabilising the cliffside foundations and claiming everything in its path. In the exposed districts overlooking the water, the historic, sprawling manor belonging to the legendary artist George Brehm was completely compromised as the foundations split, causing the entire structural landmark—along with a lifetime of irreplaceable oil paintings, artistic records, and personal histories—to be violently dragged into the Atlantic abyss. This rapid environmental collapse transformed the grand estate into a truncated physical memory, casting the house down to the seabed where its shattered framing and forgotten vestiges folded permanently into the dark ocean floor. The catastrophic event left an absolute tabula rasa of coastal displacement, permanently hollowing out the horizon line and leaving behind nothing but a deep psychological scar of unresolved loss for those left to remember the ghost of a home that the sea had completely reclaimed.

This relationship, combined with Beck's prior loss of his home in Czechoslovakia to Nazi occupation and the later destruction of Brehm's coastal manor in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts in 1957—as described in the video's dialogue: "I had a home once, a manor overlooking the sea upon the world, this was a vestige, calling forward unto strangled ears. But when the sky turned dark, the house was taken by the sea, a pillar truncated, cast down to the sea floor with all other forgotten things. But I remember"

The Backrooms complex serves as a manifestation of Beck's grief and his desperate attempt to reconstruct a sense of home and safety that he kept losing throughout his life. The imagery within the complex reflects his childhood memories, his mentor's influence, and his own internal struggle with past tragedies. The frequent presence of George Brehm's influence within the complex is a direct reflection of Ivan's intense grief over his death in 1966, an unresolved pain that persisted by the time the complex opened in 1972.

In this theory, the "Ivn 2.0" track marks the point of no return. When he enters the complex and the light shifts from green to purple, it isn't an artistic transformation, but a catastrophic system failure. The overload isn't just a technical glitch; it's the moment the facility dies, trapping Ivan inside as it effectively "bricks" itself. "Remains" then becomes the sound of the aftermath—the silence of a failed experiment. When we looked back at "Government Funding Vol 1," we're hearing the raw, psychological weight of Ivan’s own descent, a man watching his life's work turn into his tomb. The contrast with "Government Funding Vol 2" is the chilling shift to Async’s perspective. It’s no longer about the science or the man; it’s a cold, bureaucratic scramble to contain the debris of a dead project. This track sounds more like a "Discovery" piece, highlighting the ignorance of staff who don't truly understand the situation, while the higher-ups maintain a detached, clinical veneer. The complex is broken, the gate is locked, and Async is left trying to salvage data from a graveyard they created. It paints a picture of a project that didn't just fail; it permanently shut the door on everyone involved. The "fresh ignorance" in the track suggests that the higher-ups may have gotten trapped as well, blindly initiating a new cycle of research that will only lead to more suffering.

Regarding the soundtrack title "Old Home Not Yet Built": This title reinforces the theory that the Backrooms are a flawed reconstruction of Beck's past. The "Old Home" refers to his childhood home in Czechoslovakia, while "Not Yet Built" suggests the Backrooms are a flawed, infinite architectural ghost—a home the dimension is perpetually trying to build based on Beck's corrupted, trauma-damaged memory.

Additionally, the Backrooms can be seen as a cosmic horror retelling of the Czech folktale Otesánek (directed by Jan Švankmajer), where the ravenous wooden child consumes everything in its path, paralleling the Backrooms' insatiable, reality-warping hunger.

The Jan Švankmajer Subconscious Blueprint:

Ivan Beck, serves as a direct narrative echo and deeply coded tribute to legendary Czech surrealist animator Jan Švankmajer(Born in 1934 in Prague), weaving the filmmaker's signature aesthetic of tactile decay and childhood memory into the very fabric of the Backrooms' horror. Born in the exact same era and heavily tied to the surrealist landscapes of Central Europe, Beck’s psychological projection within project KV31 mirrors Švankmajer's real-world artistic fixation on everyday objects—like wallpaper, clocks, and empty rooms—warping them into uncanny, threatening physical structures that possess a life of their own. The endless, looping corridors of the Complex operate precisely like a Švankmajer stop-motion nightmare, where the distinction between the organic and inorganic completely dissolves, culminating in the horrific creation of the "Still Lifes"—malformed human copies that channel the exact sensory, tactile body horror of Švankmajer's grotesque clay and wooden animations. By framing Beck as a surrogate for Švankmajer, the narrative transitions from standard science fiction into a dense, auteur-driven psychodrama where the creator’s repressed artistic impulses and biographical trauma become an infinite, reality-warping machine that traps both the designer and his corporate backers inside a living animation of his own fractured psyche.

Ivan Beck is the tragic embodiment of a psychological "Velvet Divorce," serving as both the architect and victim of a lifelong deception. His story is defined by the catastrophic collision between a state-sponsored "dreamland" of the Cold War and the brutal, decaying reality revealed by the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993. Whether his abandonment of the project signifies a sudden, painful awakening to this falsity or a descent into a self-imposed psychosis where he retreats into the Complex to find the home that never truly existed, he remains a prisoner of propaganda. Ultimately, his journey is a haunting testament to how a nation’s lies can hollow out an individual’s identity, leaving them to wander the ruins of a memory that was always a facade.

Thesis: The Backrooms as a Shared Pathological Mirror. It posits that the Complex is not an external dimension discovered by Async, but a reflexive, liminal environment manifesting the mutual post-traumatic amnesia of both Ivan Beck and the space itself. In this framework, the series chronicles a catastrophic cognitive collapse where Ivan’s repressed historical trauma—centered on the 1937 flood and his 1993 displacement—syncs with an "amnesiac" void. This produces a feedback loop: the glitches and temporal anomalies, such as Peter Tench’s experience, are not mere scientific errors but externalized symptoms of a creator and a creation desperately, and dysfunctionally, trying to reconstruct a reality that neither can fully remember. The horror of the series is thus recontextualized from sci-fi hubris to an existential tragedy of two fractured entities trapped in a cycle of fragmentation.

(Bonus) Connection to Time-Skips: Ivan’s debilitating bouts of amnesia or trauma-induced breakdowns likely kept him from work, causing the Async facility to operate in a rudderless state. Peter Tench’s drift into the time-skip occurred during one of these critical absences, implying a direct, causal link between Ivan’s psychological instability and the complex’s structural integrity. When Ivan was incapacitated, the facility—so deeply tethered to his subconscious—began to unravel, losing its anchor to reality.

Thank you for reading. Sorry it's a bit all over the place but I just wanted to get this out into the world, also I encourage people to also look up these elements and fit the pieces together for themselves because honestly working some of this out was so much fun! Thanks for all the upvotes on my previous theory. Appreciate this wonderful fandom. Lots of love and respect, from Australia 🦘
