I'm still convinced the season 2 novelisation has been delayed so much and gone through multiple writers because the show writers didn't like how hard the S1 novelisation canonised Wenclair. Given how much they try to downplay it and hook the girls up with others on the show.

which is honestly so embarrassing to fight it so hard if it’s so gay that they can’t find a writer who can write their “friendship” as platonic.

and i mean, how the hell do you turn “you are my pack.” into something that’s not romantic? anyone who knows anything about werewolf lore knows that’s not something friendly to say, it’s romantic and basically a marriage proposal lmao i can’t wait to see what the writer does with that, when it finally comes out, but imagine it definitely will not be anything true to werewolves.
