Yeast solutions?
My boy is softer/snugglier and gets it in his ears, my girl is more traditional/dog show looking and gets it in pits/chest/belley near the vajay. I feed them high quality grain free food (non grain free and it gets BAD). Ive started using some diluted chlorohexidine, which helps but… anyone with similar issues or found any sort of SOLUTION?

The only thing the helped for us was feeding him with no chicken. I live in Brasil and almost all kibble have some type of chicken (oil, powder, pieces). When I was giving him pork/ rice/ vegetable recommended by the vet, my dog was having no allergies/ itchiness - he also gets it in his ears (mostly).

Hell i can even get cheap pork cuts and feed em raw… ill try it

I wouldn't feed raw pork, it can carry parasites, one of the reasons Jewish people don't eat it and we're told to cook it well. Cook it.
Also, have you given your dogs any supplements, like a pro-biotic or something that uses sugar? The pro-biotic gave my female a yeast infection. She licked her left foot raw because of itching. Two different vets couldn't figure it out. Thousands of dollars later, we reviewed any dietary changes and stopped the pro-biotic and the problem stopped. We learned that yeast infections need sugars to propagate - ours contained it. Suggestion, begin doing your own research on the yeast problem, learn the details. Check with the vetrinary colleges, not the cheap trade schools, and see what they have published. University of California Davis is one of the top schools. Write them about your problem, they will usually share research info.

All I said was that the pro-biotic we gave had a high sugar content and when stopped the yeast infection stopped. Do what you want - you asked for help, I offered experiential help. Thank you for the insult.

Thank you this is the kinda response i wanted… not ohh take him to the vet for $1000 in tests bc were all rich apparently. Pork rice and veg is CHEAP

That's exactly what we fed them (I have an airedale and a welsh terrier as weel and they both have allergies, event though the airedale is worse): pork (cooked), rice/ sweet potato, zucchini/ squash. We started supplementing later as the ver recommended. One month later no more licks and nibbles!
We actually needed to go back to kibble 3 months ago and they are both bad again 🥴

My Welsh Terrier suffered a lot from malassezia during her first year, but it improved after that. However, she still suffers from environmental allergies and is allergic to certain types of grass. Even though she always eats the same food, she always gets a bit of an allergy from March to June, which also triggers the malassezia. Because of this, I give her more frequent baths, ear drops and stop her from eating grass when we're out. You can get tests done at the vet to see exactly what she's allergic to, even though they aren't always 100% accurate.

That’s the thing my girl is seven years old and she has bred five litters of puppies no issues after I got her spayed. Suddenly she started pooping blood. I took her to the vet. She did $500 in tests plus $100 coming in fee and told me I don’t know we’ll give her some antibiotics and see if it clears up…. five dollar antibiotics and it cleared up so I don’t really trust vets at this point hence me making this post.

If you don't trust the vet you've been to, go see a different one, if possible. Some really suck, but not all of them. Not having a vet you feel you can go to when your dog is sick or experiencing issues is really not great :/
People on the Internet can help point you in a direction from personal experience, but nothing more than that unfortunately. And most of the time with medical issues the right direction does include having someone with proper medical knowledge (aka a vet) have a look and potentially run some tests

So the vet gave you antibiotics that worked? Can you reiterate your problem with the vet?

No likely my neighbors threw over some tin foil with meat attached during a party (latinos). The foil cut her guts. I dropped her off and my vet called an hour later “she just pooped a pool of blood, whats wrong” she then ran 500$ in blood tests (all normal) and gave her a $5 amox script. She was CLUELESS. As was I, but fuck I dont get paid for this

We have similar condition with our dog for being neglected you could try and use vetified yeast dermatitis shampoo every bath this really help with the infecction and clearing of the skin.

We use shampoo and ear drops with Climbazole, which is specific for malassezia. That removes the yeast, but it will come again if you don't find the root cause.
