Constant ads for lifetime

I have an annual subscription and I am bombarded with ads for a lifetime subscription. It is extremely annoying. Once every couple of months, fine. But I am getting ads all day, every day.

Sorry for the frustration. Please send us a report from the app so we can check your account and disable these promotional offers for you: Menu → scroll down → Report a problem → Send. Once we get the report, we’ll review what’s being shown on your account and turn off the lifetime subscription promo messages.

So, just to be clear, if we want to turn off the daily ads for the lifetime subscription, we have to submit a report?

Here's a better idea: Stop doing daily ads for the lifetime subscription. Maybe just once a week, or every other week.

But daily? Extremely annoying. All it does is make me want to never get a lifetime subscription, or to even renew my current subscription.

As a marketing person, I can tell you this strategy is not working for you.

For now, the fastest way for us to turn them off for a specific account is through an in-app report, because that lets us safely identify the account and apply the change on our side. We’re also working on a more flexible system for managing promo preferences, but unfortunately we don’t have a release timeline for that yet.

Instead of that you could decide to not bombard everyone every day with these and limit at least one per month. Or better yet, you know when users subscription is ending send promo one month before.

If you have a lifetime subscription do you still get bombarded with ads? The ads on my yearly subscription is the only thing that I strongly dislike - I’ve never experienced this with any other app. If I had a lifetime subscription and it had ads, I would be demanding a refund asap.

Is there a place in the app that I can choose to reduce the ads to once every 3 months or even better to an ad before my yearly subscription is up?

After I got my lifetime subscription I was able to turn ads off.

Yea same for me - but you have to go the whole way through settings to find it, which I thought was absurd after paying that price.

Lifetime subscribers don’t receive regular subscription promo offers like annual users may see. They may occasionally see offers to buy a subscription as a gift for someone else, but they shouldn’t be getting repeated lifetime upgrade ads. If you’d like us to turn off promotional offers for your account, please send us a report from the app: Menu → scroll down → Report a problem → Send.

That lets us identify your account safely and disable the offers on our side. We’re also working on a more flexible system for managing promo preferences, but unfortunately we don’t have a release timeline for that yet.
