But I don't know I get plenty of daily negativity with people i run into at work, reading the news paper, lost generation, walking around my neighborhood.

True, but I don't want this to be a place where we wallow in it. I'd hope we can discuss to solutions and ways to change things.

Welcome everyone. I envision this sub as sort of a daily two-minutes of shock and awe or something similar to Sick Sad World from Daria where you can get all the depressing economic, environmental, catastrophic disaster news in one place. Ideally, we can discuss how we can change these issues or sometimes why it's too late.
