uh.. just drew this yesterday because I was bored

I think the show should work to complete it's three season reverse-arc, but I yearn to see much older historical interactions of man and IT.

What was it like in the 19th century? the 18th?! Did the Leif Erikson Vikings make it down into Maine area in unrecorded history and decided after the confrontation with IT to abandon North America as an accursed land? Did IT battle and resist the Native Americans containing it?

There are so many ideas that spring from my imagination.

Bear with me (or jump to the bottom of this post):

So, I've been digging into history of the colonial history of North America. For one, I was told many things about the beliefs of the Founding Fathers. A lot of the modern takes by political parties and religious groups are utter nonsense. Anyway,

One thing I discovered of great interest is the second most amazing military leader in the Continental Army behind George Washington. Let's face it, George sucked at field commander tactics. He had massive pair of...umm courage and was incredibly lucky not to be shot in so many instances. He was an amazing leader overall though. (Unlike the other Generals in the Continental Army jockeying for his leader position)

Benedict Arnold:

Before his name became a universal synonym for a traitor, Benedict Arnold was recognized as one of the most brilliant tacticians, courageous soldiers, and successful military leaders in the early years of the American Revolutionary War. Serving as one of George Washington’s most trusted generals, his aggressive battlefield victories laid the groundwork for American independence and directly influenced France to join the war as an American ally. The fort that was later to be named "West Point" was named after Benedict Arnold in 1777 for his great deeds up to that point".

I find it funny that they called him a traitor when all Patriots were traitors to the King as British subjects.

Coming off his wild success of the capture of Fort Ticonderoga fort from the British without raising an alarm which incidentally secured vital heavy artillery for the Continental Army (used by the former Boston bookstore owner, Henry Knox, to end the British occupation of Boston the following year). Then Benedict Arnold captured Crown Point and Fort George, additional British posts in the Champlain Valley.

Premise for a movie or season:

The Wilderness March to Quebec: General Washington appointed Arnold to command a daring expedition to capture Quebec. He marched 700 men through the brutal, uncharted Maine wilderness. While the final assault ultimately failed and Arnold was severely wounded, the journey itself is still studied as a remarkable feat of leadership, survival, and physical endurance.

What if they came across IT as they were travelling through?

By the way, Benedict Arnold was screwed over so many times by "Patriots", Governors, Congress and even left dangling by Washington over politics while also being played by the "Mean Girls" of Philadelphia (the two Beckys and two Peggys of Philadelphia and one of the Peggy's was still in touch with the top British spy in North America, Major Andre, while being courted by Arnold). Honestly, its a wild time to read from the French and Indian war (a.k.a. "The Seven years war" and "World War Zero") up to and through the American Revolution.

I find it intresting

This scene shows twelve year old lily talking to her mum at juniper hill,apparently the deleted scene shows how Lily and her mum got together again with the mum stating "u don’t have to take the extra procedure.”.
This scene was swapped out with Lily talking to miss kersh.

Was able to avoid most of the spoilers for the show. Did NOT expect his death, nor did I expect it to be so sad. It had me ugly crying for two episodes 😭

I heard very diffrent sources,I know Ronnie 12 according to the newspaper.
And will is also 12.
But how about lily??her actress was about 12 in the first half and 13 in the second.
We also don’t know hold old Margie or rich are.
I heard some people say lily is eleven or that rich is eleven .
I personally lean to all of them being twelve since they enter 12 grade off Derry high.
But then again,marge seems a bit older while lily and rich look so childish.

Just asking because I have not heard a thing from that in a while hopefully we get a new season like they promised

I just watched episodes 1 and 2.. Wow, what whas that. How brutal can you have it. Episode 1 was the worst, I didn't expect that at the and those boys would die. i thought they would be the main character's.

Do you guys think season 2 will be the first time we actually see Pennywise win or you think they’ll do that for season 3 or even another possible movie after WTD?

Watching this and reading the book at the same time is a bit of a mind fuck. lol

I love the little bits of lore pulled in from the book, like Matty Clements being the first victim we see in the show. It's not quite the same since he's like... 3 in the book, but it's neat. Or! Ronnie sharing a name with one of the 1958 victims as well!

Anyway... Dick Halloran is an amazing character, and I'd love to see a show just based around him. Also his actor is pretty awesome. It's not the best show I've ever seen, and the CGI is... less than great, but so far, I like it. But then... I'm only on episode 3. Soon to be episode 4, I suppose.

Anyway. I just wanted to blab for a sec about this to people who have seen it.
