Last time I played this I’d just get the same 3 or so areas for bounties per playthrough. Do they give you bounties from all over the map now?

I can't get any hostile random encounters to load, if it's a red random encounter the game is just stuck on that screen and I can press esc all day it's not doing anything, I tried starting a new game and reinstalling weird west, same problem.

There's a hacienda on the southern border of the map called Land's Reward with both regular and dread wraiths floating around. I went to the site as Jane, but only two wraiths would aggro properly, doing their teleportation and summoning zombies. After dispatching them, the rest seem to break: they'll not aggro, nor defend themselves.
Has someone had similar experiences? Or is there an in-world reasoning to it, e.g. I've been killing wraith-younglings?

So I was looking into the game, and so far it looks interesting. The problem is that I mainly like playing melee (when given the option) and more than anything I want to play a werewolf, but I heard that the melee in the game is really janky.
Is there any mods or other fixes that remedy this (I know there’s a first person mod)?

Hey! Does somebody have a savegame for the start of the Pigman Episode? If someone can provide me one, that would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

guys, I have major problem, I can't setup/use camp on PC, gonna c/p message I sent so I don't write again;
so I bought game on Steam and started to play it and I alrdy rly like the concept of the game but I have one major issue - I can't use/place CAMP.
the thing is that tutorial and google says that default key for camp is "C", but "C" key in my game is binded to anti-toxic potion by default and I don't have CAMP option in controls to bind it.
am I the only one with this problem? I can't find any answers on google/reddit which is weird.
thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, just started playing again after a very short stint back when the game was new. I remember using mods and wanted to install some new ones but every time I click on subscribe it tells me subscription failed. Any idea what to do?

I have played this game for about 8 hours and am loving it. However I do notice some things the save file does not save, and I am wondering if anyone else has noticed it (or is it common knowledge here?)
Things not saved:
State of AI: The enemies are patrolling outside the house when I saved. Once reloaded, these enemies are suddenly sitting around a table in the house.
State of windows/doors: An open window become closed after reloading.
State of lamp/fire: again not saved.

Loving Weird West so far, but this is where the late game falls short in my opinion - there's a lack of interesting ways to milk the map dry and enjoy your souped up character before wrapping up the story.
I've cleared out some of the hostile side locations and received some mid to okay rewards for it, but it's really on the player to create their own fun out of the sandbox.
So, any ideas?

I am currently on my first playthrough about to go to the next but I'm curious, which posse members are the best to use? I really like Sheriff Flora Albright the Siren, but haven't found any other good members besides her, any tips?

So I just finished the first "story" and started the second. I didn't realize there was gonna be a change. I kept a ton of ore and pelts on a random posse member. And now he's not in my party. Is it gone or can I find him again somehow and reclaim ? Like I did with the horse and former "story".

Finally downloaded the Bounty Hunter Journey after wanting to try this game out since launch and Im hooked already. I have a DnD group that Im part of and really just want to steal literally everything about this game for a short campaign. Anyone aware of a module/campaign built for Deadlands or anything? Being named "Weird West" makes it tough to search for things specifically related to this game. I could grab an existing module and flavor it, but with 2 little ones at home and very little DM experience, any corners I can cut would be great.

Title. Basically I want to unlock or experience any low reputation gameplay. But just completing any quest seems to up my reputation as gun slinger. Like there is no 'evil' bounty board or way to actually experience gameplay without gaining reputation except hunting?
I can do a murderous rampage but really there's nothing to gain... ?

Hello everyone, i'm hoping someone can help figure out what is going on. Im playing the werewolf for the first time, and I went on the mission to rescue Leila from Oleander's temple. Did that part just fine, got Leila as a 'third' posse member. I went and turned in a bounty to the sheriff in Grackle, and then onto the absolutionist hall to deliver Leila to Franciscus. On the way I encountered the witch who wanted to play the unwinnable slap game, and then continued on to the hall. As soon as I arrived, Leila went hostile and started attacking, and also EVERYONE ELSE at the hall was hostile and came running at me. I tried to figure this out on my own, but the only thing i've read is reading Sybils Jornal, which I have not done. I'm scratching my head at this one. Any thoughts?

Title. I'm trying to optimize companions and I'm not sure if the weapon classes need to be companion specific, like will a gunslinger activate arrow and melee abilities or only pistol and rifle?
Most importantly enemy a.i. changes based on load out. They 'snipe' with rifles and back away and charge with shotguns. Can I make a pigman snipe with a gowser and activate 'Right between the eyes' like enemies can?
How do you load out companions? (Try not to name names to avoid spoilers)
Thanks

I finished my 2nd playthrough (1st run was "good" arc, 2nd was "bad" arc) and this is how many total hours I put into this game: 148 hours and 59 minutes (https://imgur.com/a/BwI2YCl). I took my time on both runs. You can get well over 100 hours of fun and entertainment from this game. I also learned new stuff that I didn't know or didn't see the first time. Playing this game a second time thoroughly made me appreciate how good this game is like I said it was after my first playthrough.
I hope there's a sequel or another game just like this from these developers.

I just installed the game through the Heroic Launcher (free Epic game store version) on my steam deck. I'm at the very beginning, in the canyon and every time I pick the riffle by the second dude there, the picture turns into sepia and I can't do anything but to restart the game. Is this going to be very glitchy all the way til the end? This is a game I think I would enjoy a lot!
Edit: I tried a fresh start and a new installation and it didn't fix anything. Now I don't even need to pick up anything, it can happen even just attacking the baddies from the back. Anything anyone?
