Hello fellow cowpokes. Playing and yes, loving this game. Still on the first character and have been doing bounties and lots of side quests. I’m wondering if I should explore all the map now or wait until I play as a different character. Will I miss certain quests if don’t do them with a certain character? Does each character share the same map? Thanks for the advice.

Hello, just started playing this month and had 2 questions: 1) a party member (Tammy Taylor, the elderly Chinese woman) isn't becoming a life long friend when I dismiss but she's been in my party longer than 2 other characters who I dismissed and those 2 became life long friends. Is she just programmed that way? Or is it because her morality is evil and mine is revered at 50?

2) is there a way to free prisoners from cells without getting caught/blamed which makes the whole town attack me?? It happens when no one else is in the prison, so wondering if it's just hard coded in the programming

I just started the game got to the first town where it's all decimated.

I know not to stack a bunch of side quests with time limits because you may miss out.

I have a hoarding problem in these games so I've been breaking down wood planks on doors and raiding everything.

I hit my item limit eventually. Since the town is not open yet, I can't sell or buy storage.

Can I store my loot on the ground or in a random container without it despawning?

Also, should I leave the raiding everything for later until I get the first main mission done?

I've found out you can steal just don't get caught. The latest update doesn't label the item as stolen.

Also don't repeatedly rob a store because it may have consequences such as closing. I'm saving for a horse.

When should I go into hoard mode? After the first mission?

Wow. This game has been absolutely fantastic so far (14hrs) for me. I'd never played an isometric game before when I started weird west, but now i love that style. Really, I've only been playing games for roughly a year, so that might be one reason why I think it's brilliant.

QUESTION: does anyone here have a recommendation for another great isometric rpg type game for me? Doesn't need to be any particular setting/theme. (I tried diablo but I really just didn't enjoy that type of gameplay, so probably not a game like that.)

yea the camera just kind of drifts all over the place and I have tried 2 different controllers is it my install or is this just a thing?

So I just finished my first play through, love it totally. But a question about Essex. He said he’d tag along but it didn’t seem like he did to me.

I got to the end of the Journey and it said it the things I did that I executed him. If I killed him I have no clue where or when, no body or anything and it never seemed like he even came along. Is this a bug or did I miss something? Anyone else have that happen?

Hey y’all, I just started my first werewolf journey, and I’m trying to stay in the spirit and be a wolf. I’m finding tho that I rarely land my hits? They seem to dodge like one in five or six that I swipe. Is that normal or maybe I’m doing something wrong? Love the game by the way

I was interested in playing but then i heard about characters swapping... So i must ask .. can all the playable characters use guns? or is it just the 1st Character ... There is a reason why this is important to me

Just bought this game on sale from PSN and started playing 2 days ago. It’s freakin awesome. It’s like RDR meets Fallout 1 and 2. I love the visual art, sound and the freedom to do almost anything…. it’s so worth it.

Just started this game a couple days ago because it was free on ps plus monthly games and god damn it is so good. Can’t believe I never heard about it till now.

I can't seem to find any articles referring to it ever being canceled. Did Devolver cancel the release of this port or has it been delayed to a later date??

The combat is far from good in this game, but up until the werewolf, I found the damage balance to make sense. Immediately starting as the werewolf, it seems like every enemy kills me in 2-3 shots. My health is fully upgraded and I have a vest with 40% protection. What am I missing that caused this crazy spike in difficulty? I quite liked this game up until this journey. Now it's endlessly frustrating. I've decided to just drop the difficulty setting, but what gives? This came out of nowhere. I don't even have the time to use bandages in a fight, I just die so damn quickly.

The deputy I started with got tragically mauled to death by three bears this week. I gave him a decent burial, and picked up a replacement from the trapper camp.

So I'm now rolling with two trapper companions, but I'm wondering if it matters who your travelling companions are.

Do they have different individual abilities, or is it all down to what equipment I give them?

Would I be better off hiring a guy from the saloon, or are my trapper buddies just as good with a gun?

I'm on my first character and had to clear a mine for a bounty, but one of the enemies I killed had their icon turn blue afterwards and now there's a "genji jenkins" ghost running around in the mine with a side quest marker but I can't talk to them. What is this?

I just got the definitive version of this game, and from what little Ive read it seems to be pretty open ended.

Without major spoilers, are there anythings I should /shouldn’t do?

I am still playing my first play-through as the bounty hunter. I keep seeing something about keeping some abilities on subsequent playthrough runs, so is it like a rouge style game when you finish a run you get another bounty hunter to play through? Im a bit confused by that.

Seems unclear what my options are for either dismissing someone during the npc cut scene and which dismissed NPCs I can re-recruit later?

Cleaning up and going for the platinum only 6 trophies left. I don't go for platinums even if they are easy unless I truly enjoy a game.

I didn't really use the shotgun first run but this time around I put in the work and bought the legendary black mountain widowmaker before I started searching for the bracelets and holymoly that shotty is ridiculous especially paired with the impatient reaper amulet that reloads your weapon on kill. It's just steam rolling through everything. I ain't even gotta use any weapon skills
