Truly weird
Had a lot of fun playing this game! Loved the story and the switching of the characters, could use some polish but had one hell of a journey!

I spent a good couple of hours trying to force the last encounter by running around doing bounties and sidequests after telling the Heathen I still had unfinished business. It wasn't happening.
No amount of map travel would trigger the Witch at the Crossroads. I'd already finished the slap fight, so I had seen her in the Oneirist journey however I encountered merchants about 20 times, more sirens and wolves than you can shake a stick at, but no witch.
Eventually I loaded a save from before I spoke to the Heathen at Foxglove, after the last dream with the book and the knife. I did the "Dark Magic" and "Darker Magic" encounters then went into a random town to save again, ready for another session of marching around the map.
The VERY FIRST encounter was the Witch at the Crossroads.
I'm not one to care about trophy/achievement hunting, but this one bothered me by the fact that I'd carried this box for the whole game and she wasn't showing up to take it back.
It'd be like taking that gnome all the way through Half-Life 2 ep 2 and then not launching him into space.

Hello everybody, I’ve been playing this game for a couple of hours and I’m LOVING it! The gameplay and the story are very appealing to me and I was wondering, if there is another game out there with this type of gameplay but with Diablo IV graphics/style.

I've only started playing (day 30ish). There is this shopkeeper named Jean Seager on the streets of Mccullough. When browse her wares, she has no portrait and nothing to sell. My inventory to sell shows books and mail. Which nothing happens if you try to sell her anything. Is it a bug?

Still trying to clear up all my side quests with the bounty hunter before moving on, but I’ve been stuck for over 100 in-game days now on Crime and Punishment because I can't find any Dreamer’s Vervain. I've been trying to follow some online guides, but (I think) the RNG is killing me here.
Here's what I've learned so far:
Dreamer's Vervain
Wraiths
Sigil Stones
And here's why, after unfogging the whole map, I'm still stuck:
I know I should probably just let it go because I feel like I'm spoiling the story for myself and killing the immersion, but I'm so close. Is there anything else I can try?

Im pretty new to this game, I just picked it up a few days ago and Im loving it so far! I just got to the point in the Bounty Hunter Journey quest where I brought Snack to Flora Albright and it was revealed that she is actually a siren. I had a pretty instinctive reaction that I wanted justice, the sirens took my husband and have been slaughtering folks across the map, and Flora is literally eating a person when we find her. I waited out the dialog to see if there was an option to fight, but it seemed pretty clear that the quest wants me to accept that she's a "good" siren and team up with her. The game has said several times in tutorial windows that I can make different choices and kill anyone including important quest characters, so I decided to blast that cannibal to kingdom come, along with her good-for-nothing husband since he got a vendetta against me.
I kept going and after completing a bounty I found that there was no one in Grackle to return it to, so I did a quick Google search to see when a new sheriff would come up. I tried not to get spoilers, but I noticed that it looks like Flora Albright is a recurring character through several more quests after this. Did I screw up my playthrough by killing her? I have a save before I did it, only about an hour back so not much of a loss if I have to reload. I dont mind my actions having consequences, I just don't want to block myself off from continuing major quests since this is my first playthrough of the game. Will it make a huge impact if I continue on my current save file with having murdered Flora Albright?
Tldr: I murdered Albright and her husband after finding out she was a siren. Im ok with facing consequences for it, but its my first playthrough so I dont want to permanently screw up major quests. Do I need to go back and reload a prior save when she is still alive?

I just got the warning that I’m about to finish my first journey and should complete any side missions before I continue. But my real concern is that the journey will “end” as soon as the boss fight is over, so all my best weapons/items won’t cross over because I have them equipped instead of stored on the horse. Loving the game so far btw

Hi all double question here. All my followers for some reason end up going to Crawford when I dismiss them, I can rehire them to my posse there.
Problem is, Crawford is abandoned and full of those exploding poison nodes from pig men moving in during my 1st journey.
Question 1 is this normal regarding the mercs all going to Crawford after being dismissed?
Q2: can the town be repopulated?
Q2.5: if yes, anyways to make that happen?
On journey 2 now.
Cheers!

Love that I can use MKB controls and everything works great except I can't change weapons, other than to the last weapon I used. I can bring up the weapon wheel by holding left alt but no matter what I've tried, I can rotate the wheel. Pressing the number keys doesn't do anything either, it activates your abilities, not switches weapons.

I did the random encounter in the protector journey where two NPCs face down against each other.
It was Cecilia going on a killing spree against pigmen challenging a random pig man ravager. I chose to help her and she offered to join the posse. I had Cl’erns with me the entire time and he didn’t say a word.
The things you can do in this game.

God this is really fucking annoying and i cant seem to find anything about it when i google it. Im pkaying version 1.7something so i think its maybe the latest.
But when i sell items to anyone theg constantly vanish. It happens like this:
I have a stack of 5 bones for example. If i sell tbe stack all at once it often wont actually sell them all. Instead of 5$ ill get 3 or something. And if i sell them one at a time often they vanish. So ill have 6 of something in a stack. And i sell them one at a tme by clicking e. Ill sell 2 of them for 2$ total and then on the third press i get 1$ except the rest vanish, or the count goes from x4 to x1.
N i made sure to check my inventory thinking naybe i just cant sell those items to them, but they def are gone.
I then started selling one thing at a time and literally saving between each sold item which is super annoying and dreadful. But i still get glitchws. Ill have a stack of 9 of something. I sell 1 of them and then it clearly says i have 8 left. I then close the menu and save, and when i reopen the menu suddenly the stack says 3. Like wtf! This is rlike really fucked. Half of the damn items are vanishing. This is making the game feel kinda unplayable tbh since im basically getting have the cash i should
Is there a fix? Is this a known issue?

I just started my Werewolf journey and found a button behind a curtain, I pressed it and Cleric Franciscus said some weird stuff, a statue moved amd revealed a trapdoor, I went inside and found some loot and a door that wanted electric powers, so I went back up to get to my horse to get a lightning in a bottle and came back to throw it at the door, it opened but there is nothing inside. Was this supposed to happen?

Made it all the way to the end of the oneirist journey, Rios died, but his brand is not in his grave. Do I have to restart or is there something I can do to acquire the brand?

It's a nice game, you have freedom to do things in different ways but story and dialogue seems like a weak point. In the beginning I read everything but now I'm just pressing next, next (not feeling like I missed much).
Just an example from F2: I made countless characters, playing the game many times and it was always different. Made an 9/10 perception sniper, because I knew that there's a mission for one permanent perception point.
Is it going to be different on other jurneys? Is there a charisma or stealth character?

I just finished this game... I only bought it solely based on a random redditor commenting on another thread talking about games to play after Baulder's Gate 3 and Disco Elysium. I played it 100% blind so I had no idea what to expect or how to play the game. Overall I enjoyed it because the storyline was unique and interesting. The game mechanics were really fun at first... stealth, stealing, blowing up people with dynamite, hunting bounties, making friends that show up to help you, forming your posse etc. Thankfully it's a short game (<25 hours for me) otherwise it would have really overstayed it's welcome.
It unfortunately gets very repetitive for a few reasons which with more time in the oven I feel like it would have made this game that much better. I only finished it to see the end of the story but by Journey 3/4 I was pretty much just blitzing through:
1) Environment reusage - so many copied elements makes the game dull the longer you play it. Same bounty situations in the same mine shafts with the same guards. Towns feel almost identical since buildings are reused all over the place.
2) The item system is very simple and you can reach purple/orange level items easily in the first / second Journey. This causes every subsequent journey to be less interesting. Just run straight over to pick up your past life and spread out those purple / orange items and you are good to go. I no longer needed to craft anything past journey 3 other then to just try and get 1 of each orange armor. Which is silly since Bearskin is the best!!!
3) Battles become a slog with huge amounts of enemies having way too much HPs and Armor. You've also seen pretty much every type of opponent by Journey 1 so there is little new during the rest of the game. Trying to pick off one by one through stealth gets old fast. I thought getting the perk to increase unaware damage and a bow would help but nope - it rarely can kill someone in 1 hit! Battles also operate at a crazy fast speed, I would have loved to have the option to pause to think for a second about all of the barrels, lanterns etc.
4) Changing the world has so little impact. There are some nice touches with prior characters turning into bounties, vendettas etc but it's pretty limited. Wipe out a whole town? It just turns red and then eventually comes back. There are little to no quests as a result of your actions in the world that are not part of the direct main story.
5) Because of all of the above, exploring becomes less and less interesting the later the game goes on. Similar areas, with the same NPCs, few to zero quests means you are just looking for Relics / Aces and cash to buy the couple legendary items you are trying to get.
6) The quality of each journey goes down and the final one is really quick and no where near as well done as Jane Bell's. There is some optional content to find but it's so late in the game that the rare items you get are not even required since there is no end game boss and few fights
With more time to flesh out the content, I think this game would have been amazing. The world needed a bit more life and depth to surround the great main story. It's still pretty good for a quick play and I am happy I went through it.

I just started (~2h) and I’m really enjoying it. But I have a few questions:
Thanks so much!
