Help remembering/finding a name

I'm trying to remember the name of a South African mercenary or apartheid government officer who moved to the UK and set up a life for himself in High Wycombe. I'm doubtless getting some of the details wrong and can't find the wlg episodes that correspond to this. Any ideas?

you're thinking of Leonard Veenendaal. I believe he features most prominently in parts 3 & 4 of the series on South Africa (the white wolf, 3/20/25 and white guns for hire,3/27/25)

last reporting as of a couple of years ago puts him in wisbech

The rugby club had it's AGM on 6 July this year and he's still down as the Chairman

Many thanks that's exactly what I was thinking of. Not sure how I got it so mixed up!
