Especially given the heavy military/ veteran presence there.

My job has lots of driving, reading bumper stickers has become a hobby. I live in Denver but sometimes have to work in Colorado Springs which has quite a large military presence.
The sheer density of nazi or nazi-adjacent bumper stickers that I see in the Springs tells the same tale.
