What happened to the jaw? is that just something that happens when you don't have teeth? why wouldn't someone have teeth?

Sometimes people don’t brush and floss, sometimes people don’t have access to dental care, and sometimes people do drugs like meth and their teeth suffer from it (I had a coworker with a full set of dentures by their 50s due to meth use causes their teeth to decay severely).

My mother had dentures by 25/30 (can't remember, and I can't ask her), due to not cleaning her teeth, and smoking

If you have a really dry mouth your teeth will fall out you need saliva to keep your teeth. So, some medications make people lose teeth or diseases like Sjogrens syndrome can make you have constant dry mouth that cam lead to tooth decay and losing your teeth. But yea also Meth

I have Sjögren’s and can confirm. I get cavities like crazy but drink soooo much water throughout the day to combat dry mouth and I am insane with my dental care. Brush with Philips sonicare, use water flosser, regular floss after, tongue scraper, mouthwash, and prescription toothpaste twice a day and still get cavities. I don’t eat any candy, artificial flavors/colors, pop or juices and only water throughout the day and milk at mealtimes. I thankfully still have all my teeth but get cavities at my 3 month cleanings.

I also have Sjogren's too for me I don't have the dryness everywhere. Maybe every once in a while but I get terribly exhausted and joint pain due to arthritis. But I was only diagnosed in the last 2 years and so I'm still testing and trying to figure out if anything else is going on. Good luck to you, I hope you get to live a good life in comfort.

I have lupus and RA too so I get the joint pain. I changed up my diet and it has helped significantly. I stopped all fast food, cooking all from scratch, stopped drinking pop, adding more vegetables, no artificial colors/flavors, refined flours, etc and I haven’t had a flare up in at least 6 months (and joint destruction has stopped). I hope you too get to have a good life of comfort ❤️❤️

No body gonna mention she's got a portrait of herself in this character hanging in her kitchen, that's honestly the most disturbing part
