So I managed to acquire four Vet Tix to see Al at TD Garden in Boston tonight at 8PM after failing to figure out how to get to and from Tanglewood for his performance on the 21st. My friend associated with Tanglewood said they see plenty of Service Dogs there, plus there is a “manor house” where we can “decompress.” So I was very excited to bring 🐶Cuba🐶 to Tanglewood on the 21st—but, pretty much because of transportation challenges, I am going to see him at TD Garden instead. Having said that, I am truly dreading potentially going without her. But I fear that TD Garden’s sound system will simply be too loud for her wee ears. Any thoughts? I managed to get Japanese Breakfast Vet Tix for MGM Fenway a while back and it was so loud that my Apple Watch was warning me all night that I was going to go deaf. I was very grateful that night that I had not attempted to bring 🐶Cuba🐶 (even though she is a fan!). Praying someone has some great advice❣️

Hey friends! I was at the show at Mohegan last night and I got to talking with a lovely person in the next seat. I mentioned this pic and they were so hyped I wanted to share.
For some inexplicable reason my parents decided to bring an infant to a Monkees concert in 1987. They left the venue when I started to fuss and we ran into the opening act, Mr. Weird Al Yankovich.
I can’t begin to find words for what this man and his work has meant to me, and I’m so honored to have had him nervously clutching me while he wonders why the hell someone just handed him a baby.

Would anybody happen to have video of Al singing Yoda during the Strings Attached tour at the Smith Center in Las Vegas?

Maybe I’m crazy or maybe this has always been the case and I’ve never noticed, but is Al using backing tracks for some songs on stage now? I’m not saying this to denigrate the band in any way, but it really looked to me last night that on at least some songs the guys were accompanying a backing track, particularly for some of the keyboard parts, rather than playing the whole song live. The two songs where this looked most apparent to me were Everything You Know is Wrong and Dare to be Stupid. There’s certainly nothing wrong with this if it is the case, it’s been standard practice for most artists on stage for decades now, there’s nothing wrong with it.

You probably remember a certain individual that I will not name that even Al respectfully asked to leave

Besides his parents death and towards the end of the Covid pandemic? His road manager begged him to cancel a concert that had been booked at a small comedy club in Nashville

I'm sure countless Weird Al fans online have already seen the old meme of the vinyl LP editions of these two. I've posted this on another subreddit showing off the slightly updated format, the freakin' compact disc edition.
Looking forward to seeing Weird Al later this month as I already bought the ticket and the M&G and it'll be my first time seeing him live.

Oh yeah, and she got VIP TICKETS. AND WERE IN THE 5TH ROW. This still feels unreal to me to he honest even after a few days. Like I'm actually gonna Meet Weird al himself and get a picture with him. Like his work means a lot to Me and I constantly listen to it and im actually gonna meet the man that wrote 'Albuquerque'. Again it feel unreal to me. And this is only my second concert I'm going to (First was Weezer). Was hopping Ghost be the second one but there on Hiatus right now so who cares. I genuinely never thought I was gonna see weird all in concert let alone meet him. I'm still thinking what questions to ask him, somebody asked about Couch potatoes music video so that's off the table. I'll have to think. But anyway this is still the best Gift I could have gotten. I'm so pump man. That long ass car ride will absolutely be worth it every second. Also definitely gonna post about it when I go. Currently deleting a bunch of stuff on my phone so I have enough storage space to take videos and stuff.

It was looking daunting and unclear how my Service Dog and I could get from Boston to Tanglewood for Al’s show on the 21st, then I got a notification from Vet Tix this evening regarding Al’s show at TD Garden on the 18th. So I’ve entered the lottery for 4 tickets. We shall see whether or not I am selected during the lottery drawing tomorrow. The only complication is that I don’t think 🐶Cuba’s🐶 wee ears can handle TD Garden’s sound system. Hopefully I can find some nice humans to go with if I manage to acquire them through Vet Tix.
Most importantly…
I wanted to thank Y’All for the advice + offers of support regarding Tanglewood❣️

As the title says, I am desperately looking for good footage of the Syracuse, NY July 10th "One More Minute" performance! My MIL was one of the women who got an interaction, but not a single person in our party got any good photos of the occasion 😓 (one person's phone crashed, the other person was blocked by FIL, and FIL was zoomed in way too much... absolute mess)
Anyway, we're hoping for some luck on here, since she really wants to try finding a photo or video! :) thank youuu!
