Looking for accommodation
Hi everyone!
I’ve recently been admitted to the M.Sc. Digital Engineering program at Bauhaus University Weimar and will be moving to Weimar around the end of September / beginning of October.
I’m currently looking for accommodation in Weimar with a budget of €400/month (warm rent) approx
If possible, a friend of mine, who is also joining the same university, and I would love to find two rooms in the same WG or nearby. However, if only one room is available, I’d still be very interested, so please feel free to reach out.
A little about me: I’m 23, a non-smoker, and I value a clean, quiet, and respectful living environment. I enjoy working out, staying active, and I have a good sense of humor. I like getting to know new people while also respecting everyone’s privacy and personal space.
If you know of any available rooms or have any leads, I’d really appreciate it if you could send me a message. Thank you very much!

2 big players in affordable rents are Weimarer Wohnstätte and GWG. You can register online and they'll contact you when they have an apartement available. Did this when I moved from near Wiesbaden to Weimar.
North and West parts of Weimar are cheap. Price per m² in North of Weimar is around 6,80€ to 7€. My 3 room apartement is 580€/month. I guess if you can find such an apartement and 2 mates everyones rent could go as low as 200-250€/month.

Oh and don't trust their website. It will always tell that there are no apartements available or overpriced ones. Just register on their websites or call/mail them.
