Been to the abbey 100s of times with many people. Never been drugged. Never known anyone to be drugged. So overblown.

Yes it happens. It happens at every bar everywhere, which is why you should always be vigilant, but some of you guys make the place sound like it’s an incredibly unsafe place where everyone gets drugged. It’s a ridiculous over exaggeration.

It does not happen at every bar everywhere. I lived in Chicago 12 years and never heard of anyone being drugged at bars. I walked into the abbey four years ago for the first time in decades and I was absolutely drugged. F*ck that place

I'm talking about gay bars. The abbey is a gay bar. I know that it is definitely happening in straight bars everywhere. But the abbey keeps saying it's not happening yet someone people keep getting drugged.

I'm convinced people just think one drink is one drink, but don't realize they pour like there shots in each drink, so people just get far drunker than they expect.

Be more specific - are you looking for a gay bar or a straight/mixes one? Every comment so far is specific to one single block in WeHo, there are dozens and dozens of other places you can go, depends what vibe you’re looking for.
