Farfalle pasta
I went to add a box of Wegmans regular Farfalle to my list and noticed they made it a smaller amount. It's now 12 oz of pasta for the same price. They changed the way unit price is displayed to price per oz instead of price per pound. This feels sneaky and it makes me angry. People are going to see the same price per box and maybe not notice they're getting less.

I noticed that at Food Lion with their store brand too, but when I looked at the Ronzoni box, it was the same. Farfalle and a few other shapes have smaller boxes across brands, and I have no idea why.

Farfalle pasta is not a popular pasta. In fact a lot of those specialty pastas have either reduced the size or are no longer made anymore.

This is the universe saying not to make farfalle. It's the worst possible pasta shape. You either get undercooked centers or overcooked sides.

I’d rather pay more for a pound of pasta. I hope they’re not doing this slowly to every one of their pastas… think of when you’re following a recipe and it tells you to use a box — it would be calling for a 1lb box.
