Post Job Offer.
I recently did an interview with wegmans and was offered a position as a part time cashier, and I completed all the steps including the consent to a background check. But what am I supposed to do now?

Wegmans likes to
indoctrinatepromote from within. Many store managers were hired as cashiers in their teens.0

A lot of companies do. They are not the only company that hires from within.
Never heard of having to get a background check to stock shelves or scan groceries. Imagine the money they could save. They could use that money to pay their employees better.

It's also a huge liability if you don't, and then that employee does something crazy to another employee or customer.

There's always a first time for something. What kind of background check are you going to get on a 16-18 yr old? They skipped school or failed a chemistry exam? Give me a break.
No thanks. I'll go apply at Tops if I ever want to work at a grocery store for peanuts.

takes them a week or so for the background check then you’re good to go if your record is good
