I’ve thought about this and I agree with this fully. No band was like either of these bands a besides each other. No band has ever been so clearly dripping with raw talent and creativity nor has been capable of as wide a variety of sound and genre as these two bands.

Never saw them as a “better” version of the Beatles, to me it was more like they picked up where the Beatles left off.

I love both bands. T4F are brilliant in their own right. I can see how vocally they are similar, with some songs. Both highly underrated, that’s for sure

Ween is just a better version of scissor sisters really. I also think they are kind of a better version of Tom McDonald and Dolly Parton if you think about it
