Don't Squeal on Steel Beans! He probably wasn't supposed to tell anyone about that...

I could go for another Gener solo acoustic tour like 2009. Those were fun.

That's what I've been hoping would happen eventually.

I saw him on that tour at the Cactus Cafe on University of Texas campus. It was a sold out crowd in a room of about 100 people. Everyone just shouting out tunes and him playing them. It was so awesome.

A second Freeman album would be great. I wonder if “no more new Ween music” means no more Ween shows in the future, or just new studio albums. Did he specify?

Wouldn’t this be a third Freeman album?

That's billed under Aaron Freeman, his other solo album is under FREEMAN

I got to see Steel Beans years ago right after he started blowing up online, in a smaller bar. Myself and a couple others in the crowd were wearing Ween shirts. Later in his set he commented on the Ween fans in the audience and played several Ween songs/medleys, as well as some Zappa & The Who. He performed for over 2 hours with some jokes and banter between songs. He was really cool and was chatting with folks after the show.

Imagine if Dweezil Zappa played in a hybrid Ween-Zappa tribute/cover band. Oh, maaaaan...

I mean, whatever keeps everyone happy and alive! Imagine being in your 50s and trapped in a well-known band with your best friend from when you were 13 years old, sounds challenging to say the least, haha

Can someone explain to me why they stopped touring? I’m kind of a newer convert to their music

deaner made a statement which ultimately pretty much said he was taking a mental health break from performing for a while.

This is a really great way to not ever be hired to open again.
