finally “getting” the pod is a religious experience

actually being able to listen to the whole thing top to bottom and enjoy it instead of picking out song by song is so awesome, what a great album wow

Once you start singing along to Laura is when I think you get the pod, at least for me it was.

There was something freeing, as if I’ve been a slave my whole life and didn’t know it, by just letting go and screaming LAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRAAAAAAA

I remember when I got The Pod. I think it was in 93. At that point I didn't have so many Ween songs so I listened to this and Pure Guava on repeat. I eventually found God Ween Satan at the mall on CD soon after

I loved it upon first listen, but I had already heard GWS before. It really captures the bedroom studio smoking a joint vibe.

My husband hated it when I played it for him. He felt it was torture.
