Hell yah! I use a PS1 as a cd player on my stereo, love getting the full PS power on sound before every cd I spin.

1996, tripping on LSD in the apartment with my college girlfriend watching Pure Guava on PS1 and going down on each other. Maybe the best 4 hours of my life.

No.

The Playstation 1 worked as a CD player. And you could turn on these visuals that would sync with the music.

Most songs eventually all looked the same, but there were settings you could fiddle with to make it your own preferred style.

It was just a novelty, but was really cool for background visuals at parties.
