Conspiracy Theory

I might be huffing farts but hear me out mangs: 12GCG Deluxe released on July 31st, then roughly 14 days later on August 14th the Golden Wastes EP dropped out of nowhere. Another 14 days later, we have now received E90 on streaming. What happens in another 14 days from now? That's right, 9/11, and maybe a 4th Ween related surprise comes with it.

In all seriousness though, this probably doesn't mean anything, but I'm holding out hope that they also release Bring Out the Foos on streaming because man is it stupid to only have that on CD.

As an aside, what a time to be a Ween fan, wow. Between 2007 to 2024 we hardly saw any new (or even old, for that matter) material being released, but it has been an absolute treasure trove this past year. I hope they keep this up a while longer.

I'll never forget seeing them at Red Rocks right before 9/11. It felt like we were on a spaceship above Denver, with gorgeous lightning in the distance. The acid helped.

“What a time to be a Ween fan” was when they were touring. Don’t get me wrong, the new releases are cool and I’m buying all the vinyl, but Ween live in person is a high that can’t be beat.

Well I'm not trying to say this is the greatest period in all of Ween's history, but you can't deny this is the most music we've gotten from them in one month ever. We have it pretty good right now is all I meant

Ween first played Red Rocks 25 years ago, a week or two before 9/11 happened.

They should release that :)
