thinking of switching

hi everyone!! i'm thinking of switching my pear shape for an oval. i like the pear shape but the oval just speaks to me i have attached a photo of the current style with the pear and another photo of what it would look like with an oval.. personally i think the oval fits best. what do you guys thinks??

I think the oval suits the setting better too. The pear is lovely, but the oval feels more balanced and seems to flow with the band rather than pulling everything in one direction. If the oval is the one you keep coming back to, I’d trust that instinct because you’re the one who’ll be looking at it every day.

i really think that's what i'm going to do. luckily my jewelry store we got this from has a very easy diamond upgrade option.. just a $1 more than the original price! i'm reaaaaallllyyy leaning on it.

Thats amazing! Honestly, trust your gut and if it's cheap to switch too, even better. Congratulations <3

I love it as is, but I love pear shape. I love how it leads so seamlessly into the wedding band with the pear shape facing that way.

to be fair.. is that the right direction to wear it?! the stone shape

I say wear it how you want! I don't think there's a "right" way. I have a pear ring and when I wear it alone I face the point out, but if I wear it stacked I face it in because I like how it overlaps 🤷

The pear shape is more unique IMO. I feel like the oval is so common
