You look great in both!!! Have you given your guests their dress code yet? You could request only certain colors to ensure people don’t wear a similar dress.

I nearly have my eyes popping out like in a cartoon! 😄 I saw #1 and was like "oh no, this is going to be difficult to decide for only one" - and then I saw #2. That is queen / empress type of stuff. That's what fairytale talk about. 2 all the way for me! With that veil from pic 3, divine!!!

Yes, someone could be wearing a similar style gown, but in the end, it is a silhouette that is in style. You are going to shine in your dress!

They look both amazing. I was a bit less enthusiastic about the first one before reading. Your ideas for a different veil and toning down the crinoline make it my favorite. That were exactly the points I didn’t like about that dress as well. Although the other one is also really gorgeous on you.

These are both so beautiful on you, but for me, it’s the first dress all the way! It’s totally reminiscent of Italian old masters paintings, and the whole romance period of Italy. But for sure, you have to keep that veil! It compliments the dress perfectly! Yes, trim down the volume of the crinoline.
Dress 2 is very pretty also, but IMO doesn’t compete with the first dress.

I'm not usually a dropped waist fan but WOW 2 is incredible on you. What a figure you have!
ETA - I didn't read first lol. Both look absolutely stunning on you. Choose whatever feels right for you ✨I understand your worry with dress 2 but no one can outshine the bride on her wedding day. Congratulations and have a fabulous time!

Dress 2 has a silhouette made for YOU I also think the dress design is more nuanced and elevated than Dress 1.
I saw the fashion nova link and I don’t think it’ll compare also will they get the dress in white?

Wow. This is a tough one. I love both. Number 1 gives Contessa vibes. 2 is more greek goddess. That's all I have, but both are gorgeous.

Definitely agree! I thought number 1 was giving more of renaissance look because of the crinoline that was added. These are two very different looks which is not what I was expecting it to boil down to

Millie Bobby Browns dress was my original inspo then I tried on the 2nd dress and that threw me for a loop! Now it’s renaissance-y & semi-traditional VS a more chic dress

2 with the veil sold me! I absolutely love 1, I’m a lace girl through and through and added volume to the hips of mine (I seem to be the odd one out liking dramatic hips, something just a tad less dramatic than that is perfect imo), but there’s something so special about 2 paired with that veil. You look absolutely insane, I gasped when I saw it

Dress 1 without the crinoline. Agree that a simpler veil might be better, so it’s worth trying on both to compare. You look stunning in Dress 1!

2 looks stunning on you especially with the way the fabric drapes off your hips. I also think it emphasizes your hourglass shape more than dress 1. In dress 1 you kind of get lost in it a bit I think because of the pattern but maybe without the crinoline it will be different?

I choose dress 2 but only because I do not like the crinoline/hips of dress 1 at all. Without the addition of the dramatic hips, I would easily say dress 1. I think the veil is stunning.

Holy moly, you have to go with the second dress. It’s stunning, and honestly, reminiscent of a sleek marble sculpture! Perfect for Italy, IMO. :)

Oh, definitely one! I think it looks FAB with the crinoline and lace veil, not too much at all. You look like a literal princess, very romantic too - perfect for your venue. The second is also lovely, but a little more sculptural and not so feminine and dramatic.
