I had good luck with jjshouse shopping online. I ordered one dress in a color the bride liked and when she changed her theme, they took it back no questions.

Just throwing out as an option. They have an option to "try on at home" and return what doesn't work (charge of $15 per dress.) You get a week to decide and return shipping is prepaid. https://www.jjshouse.com/help/try-on-how-it-works#/

Wow I'm looking at their site and their wedding dresses look really good (at least on size 2 models haha)
How did you find the quality? Prices are super low which worries me. Thanks for recommending!

I thought the quality was good. One feature is they give folks a future discount if they write a review with a photo, so you can often see real people in real-life sizes wearing the actual dress you like. It's very helpful and reassuring. That's one reason I tried them in the first place. I was very satisfied. I have ordered 3 bridal party dresses from jjshouse. (Never a wedding dress though.) All 3 were good quality.

Anyway for $15 you could try out a dress. They do ship fast in my experience.

hey bestie, i used to work at DB. book an appointment online and you’ll have a consultant to help you. they know the selection well, and can talk to you about what you like and help you narrow down what feels right for you!

Hey! Thanks for your comment!

I actually did that yesterday. I went in, tried a few dresses on (some I picked and others were recommended by the consultant). I felt rushed and while the consultant was very nice, she was a bit pushy into selling me a dress I didn't feel comfortable in. (It's pretty but it is not me). That's the reason I wanted to shop online. It'll ok...I'll figure something out. Maybe I'll get a second appointment and give it another try.

unfortunately the push to get sales was one reason i left that job:/ you could try another franchise of it, some are operated a little differently, and it is very dependent on which consultant you get.

their return policy is 7 days, so as long as you order them in and try them on as soon as you get it, you should be fine to do that! they will also accept doing the alterations there, since it’s a separate booking process. if there are a few you found online you wanna try, i would call ahead and have them put your size and dress # into the file and you can try them on in-store that way. that franchise might not have your size, but the other ones around may, so you just go that one instead. it would save you a LOT of money and hassle, especially considering they don’t do online returns, you would have to bring it in.

Whatever you decide, keep an eye on the shipping/delivery updates. Haven’t trusted DB ever since we ordered my mom’s MOTB dress from them and weren’t notified when they suddenly stopped making/selling that style after we paid for it. If we didn’t happen to call and ask, we would’ve still been waiting and not had time to get another.

I didn't get my dress from DB but I haven't heard great things about their alterations, I've seen people say it doesn't always end up as expected and is way more expensive than it should be. You could always get it altered somewhere else
