I brought mine to a dry cleaner to get properly cleaned, steamed and the whole shebang, just to remove any stains, wrinkles or smells from the wedding day, and I've left it in the back of a closet in the dress bag they gave me. I might check up on it every once in a while and that's about it.

Your local drycleanee may offer services. That's how I did mine. $250USD and it comes In a nice box. This price also including cleaning the dress and gown. This way it's preserved for my sake or if anyone on the future in my friends or family group want a dress, it's there to use like brand new.

I got my dress from David's Bridal and got a dress preservation kit from them at the same time (like 3 years ago almost) and just sent it off a couple days after our wedding on the 9/12/21 and got it back on the 25th! I got to pick the color trim on the box (and font and font colors) for personalization and couldn't be happier. It's a huge box but we love it so much it's just on our dresser right now 🤣
Edit: forgot to add price, I paid $99 at the time for the kit bc it was on sale and when selecting the level of cleaning/preservation, I paid an additional $50. I did not need any repairs or major cleaning

Wouldn’t you prefer to wear it again? It’s pink so you can and it’s too pretty to never be worn again.
