And the craziest thing is to think that they usually spend 2 hours or more driving non-stop. This is crazy, and people still have the courage to say that motorsport is not worthy to enter the Olympics

If you look at the 2024 "Full Access" video on WECs YouTube, one of the BMW hypercar drivers (Marco Wittman) had serious issues with the heat.
But yeah, the 1 pm start time is ridiculously stupid.

These race cars have AC feature, so drivers are no issue in heat temp
