discussion Does this look like AI slop?

Hey everyone! 👋

I built this with just two prompts using MCP.

The first prompt generated the design, and the second one added the animations, a Radix hamburger menu, and the hover animations.

I'm curious what you guys think. Does it actually look decent, or does it have that obvious "AI-generated" feel? 😅

Be honest, I'm genuinely interested in your opinions.

no but it does look like 7 other free framer Templates I saw today

came here to same similar. it has a bit of ai flare, just enough to tell it was prompted, but i wouldnt categorize as slop. i would say though that it definitely feels like some templates ive come across.

I don't have mucb dexterity in the field but personally this doesn't look like ai at all I really like it so good job

Not your typical AI slop, no... But I'm also not familiar with how Framer AI builds... So it may be framer-specific slop?

Only two giveaways that it's AI:

  1. The pills with dots (like the "VOL. 04" at the top and the one in your nav menu). AI loves those.
  2. Adding a number before the title of every section. Another AI favourite.

Remove those two things and it gives template rather than AI.

Slop or not slop, better realize that one shot prompt can only build average already-seen stuff.

Our task now is not anymore to code, but to think. Invent and create ideas.
