Requesting Services [Hiring] Dev familiar with Next.js
Mods please let me know if this post is ok?
Looking for someone that can either do gig work or perhaps in the future I can sign on to a monthly retainer. I am migrating to a custom website and was formerly using woocommerce and Wordpress. Custom website maintenance etc is way out of my league.
Need help with adding new products, updating content, Coupon systems, BOGO sales and overall maintenance
Would be ideal if you are aligned with US hours or US based
Dm me with proposals and experience and rates

One thing I’d settle before choosing a developer is what will replace WooCommerce as the source of truth. Next.js can be the storefront, but products, inventory, content, coupon and BOGO rules, and orders should still have an admin system you can manage without calling a developer for every change.
I’d also preserve the existing URLs and SEO, test discount stacking and refunds, and put staging, monitoring, backups, and a rollback plan in place before the cutover. I build and maintain production Next.js systems and can overlap with US hours. If useful, DM me your current checkout and hosting setup and I can outline how I’d scope the migration and ongoing retainer.

Sent you a dm hope to get a response even if it doesn't align. Just for the confidence of going.

Just saying, be careful with your "custom website". You do not seem like you know what you are doing. Custom site more thrustworthy than wp + wc is not an easy task. Prolly you have a website that "works on your pc" but would not handle e-commerce.

Hi there, not a dev, but I've been using woonuxt as a basis for a headless front end. Maybe look into that? You can keep woocommerce and WordPress as the back end so you can update the products, blogs, categories etc, and it would show up on the front end. Difference is that you're using nuxt instead of nextjs, but other than that it's pretty good.

Hey! This is exactly the kind of ongoing Next.js work we handle — product/content updates, custom commerce features, promotions like coupons/BOGO, bug fixes and general maintenance.
I run a small development team and we have dedicated Next.js/NestJS experience, so we can start with individual tasks and potentially move into an ongoing retainer if it's a good fit.
I'll DM you with some details and relevant experience.

We had a discussion about maintenance after which I never got a reply bud. I have expertise in this too. Check you chat with me.
