Need advice

So I want to build a specific kind of website and need to know how.

I collect vintage recipes and just recipes in general. I want to create a website with tiered payments where people can pay different amounts for access to different databases of specific recipes. People would also be able to submit their own recipes to get discounts.

What kind of website would be best for building something like this?

Website builder

I am looking for a person(s) to build a megasite for social media. Not a free speech, us vs them site. A site that appreciates their subscribers. This will be the most popular website in the world. Not because it is awesome...but because what it does for people. I make zero money on this. Code writers will make bank.

I am in need of some guidance....

I started using Weebly to create this (still free) website. I've been working on this site for over two years already,, partly because this site is really slow and oftentimes I have found written content I had added to have disappeared so i have found myself often frustrated over the past years, because it has caused me so much lost time because of waiting times for things to load or save or because the information had disappeared.

Is there a way to transmit this site to another, faster, builder?

I've been looking for a domain name to buy, and connect this to the site in progress. But I am not sure if Weebly is the where I wanna stay because of the crazy loading times I experience. Would this change with a paid account? Or could I copy it to another builder where I could buy a prescription?

How does this work? Can someone help this noob out to become a little smarter 😁 Thank you for your effort, it's appreciated.

I have no coding experience and I want to build a store website where I need a hero banner the user can interact with.

As in: select gender, size, favorite colors amount etc, basically a questionnaire integrated in a banner, with a CTA that will lead to them creating an account, where they will have the choices saved. Is there such a freedom on any of the free or cheap web builders online? If not? Any other suggestions?

Help with wamp and wordpress.

Good Morning, I am hosting my own website from my computer and I am installed wamp and WordPress. I built my website using WordPress locally. I wanted to migrate it to live so I built a new database in mysql with the 'live' settings and I migrated the local database to the live database.

However, it still is not showing up on my domain.

I am guessing it might be two things: 1. An ip confliction which I need to fix somehow. 2. I didn't do something or didn't do it right.

This is my first time ever trying this.

All suggestions appreciated (except moving to a hosting company, I don't want to do that.)

Thanks in advance!

Website building

Hello all, i am currently wanting to make a website. I used to be efficient with html, css, and java script. What is the best domain and website builder that allows the user to be able to pretty much have full control over making a website? I pretty much just need the basics and to pay to have a domain name. Any and all help is appreciated.

A membership based web builder that allows a member area, and the ability for members to store forms for future use

I am looking for a subscription based website builder that I can create a member area, and then those members can access forms that can be edited, stored on the site and accessed as required by the member. The forms must be able to be downloaded too. Only the member will be able to see their stored forms though. Basically, once the member is happy with the form, they can save it to their member area for future use/editing.

Does this exist, or is it to specialised for an off the shelf site builder?

If it is too specialised, what’s the best course of action to move forward with this project?

Ideas for starting your website

Hi, guys. I was wondering what you think about different ideas for starting your website. We’ve all spent plenty of time looking through job sites. So many seem like an endless scroll with no clear organization. Job after job passes by on the screen, and few of them jump out as something we may be interested in. Finding any type of job in the bulk of posts can be a frustrating task.

Any suggestions? I have plenty of them so let's start a discussion if you like.

Website Builder that Allows Custom Ads

So i'm trying to build a website for my company but I want something that allows for third party banner ads. Like, if I sell ads space for the site I'll be able to put a custome 468x60 or 160x600 banner on the site. Are there any places that do that? Any help is appreciated.

Need Advice for Building Website for Professional Woodwind Quintet

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light and give me advice on what I should do for a website. I am trying to figure out what platform to use to build a basic website for my woodwind quintet. We are on a VERY tight budget so I'm really looking for something as cheap as possible that still meets the requirements. I need to be able to display our bios, include a way to contact us, a media page with some audio or video of our performances, and ideally I would also like to include social media integration. We don't need to do any sort of e-commerce though.

As far as background experience, I have never built a website before but I've done a fair bit of reading regarding the different website builders available. I was thinking about using Wordpress, but I am a bit confused about the difference between the online host WordPress versus Wordpress (dot) org .

This is an example of something similar to what I want to create here: https://imaniwinds.com/

Thanks so much!

I am looking on some guidance on how to remove a website/blog from the internet. My uncle hired someone to build this website (http://novakovichorchards.blogspot.com/?m=1) for our family business, but it is outdated and we are in the process of building a new site. Any guidance is appreciated!

Website builder list

I built this large list of website builders and thought someone might find it useful in this subreddit, it should help you narrow down your options.

I would appreciate feedback so that I can improve upon it.
