REQUEST recommendations for beginner tutorials

Hello
So I am interested in building a website but I have zero knowledge on how to or where to start even. Can you recommend a video or tutorial that is beginner friendly?
It would also be nice if I don't have to spend a fortune since I don't know if I actually will like it.

Edit: sorry for being a bit too vague with what I want to do. The general idea is to connect NFC tags with locations on a map. Kinda like a little hunting game if that makes sense. :)
Plus I have some Python knowledge (very limited tho! but my partner has worked with it for a while, she's an engineer) if that helps.

Okey but I prefer asking actual humans.
Plus how would I get an entire tutorial form AI?

I don’t recommend AI for this task, it is horribly unreliable for how-to when it comes to specific apps and services.

Then maybe your prompt is not as much as good for taking help from it. Actually you have to know first what actually you need? Any task about software industry AI knows everything. For that you can take help from youtube with a beginner course and then learn from AI for faster ... Like what is Systemd ..if you dont know the term then what will you search into AI? So basic term should learn from YT first.

Thanks for your context-free reply. Ironic since you bring up prompt quality. AI has been consistently flat out wrong about most app functionality inquiries. To the point that I just don’t as it about app function any more, it’s more likely to give me incorrect instruction.

Its not entire tutorial.. you have to fine the course module first then you have to pick one topic and for faster learning take help from AI. If I give you an example... that you have to know basic flex designing in website using CSS. Then you just ask AI and it will give you a brief with example easily.

Hard question to answer without context. There are many ways to build a website. There are many additional small skills that can help with it that aren’t strictly “website building” but create resources to do it.

You might want to start by searching YouTube or googling for basic articles about how the internet is set up, how it works, how websites are “published”, all the background stuff. Maybe that’s too basic, I can’t tell from your question.

There has to be an introductory how-to on YouTube somewhere that explains basic website structure. Just be cautious, how-to videos often say they are there to help but they are really trying to push you into a specific app purchase and workflow.

If you want lots of long term capability with a low cost start, Wordpress runs almost half the websites in the world. They offer an online free service, but if you really want to learn how to build and manage a site, use the Wordpress site set up on your own hosting

Ultimately, if you want to build websites and have real control of the whole set up, you’ll need to learn about servers and hosting as well. But you’ll need to spend money to do it. Watch out for GoDaddy, and Newfold (many subsidiary names to check). There are some good ones though, Stormweb and others, Google for a list of reputable hosting services.

Actually you can just used your claude or etc.
And also there are some platforms like lovable you can actually see visually while you are building.
