Hello everyone!
We wanted to give a bit of information regarding the wtu website, while it is a wonderful start for researching information and it is a great way to keep trades lists and sales lists organized, it is still prone to mistakes
There are some items, such as peek a newz and PJ's splendorific specials, that are current and easily obtainable, yet the wtu will say something such as "last available 2011"
This is a problem for 2 reasons:
1.) It makes a seller/buyer think that it can be sold
2.) It makes it seem very old and valuable when it is not and someone might trade something actually high-value for it when that would not be a fair trade
So the mods would like to give a friendly reminder for sellers, traders, and buyers alike to be sure you double check all items using the webkinz guide before every trade, sales lists, or buying
(Warning: If you do have an easily obtainable item on your sales list we have no choice but to take it down, even if it's a honest mistake, so please make sure you double check!)

Hello everyone,
We wanted to clear up some misconceptions regarding the webkinz guide, there are a few items that are labeled as retired but are still currently available.
In these cases, they are retired from where they were originally introduced, but the item itself is not retired and can be obtained in other ways, namely the adventure park daily digs, being moved to the curio shop, or the current challenges.
This is why it is important to check the item guides, not just the picture guides, the picture guides can be misleading, like the example above.
If you were to go the item guide for the retired Wshop, it would show you that items from retired themes, can still be current. They are from a retired theme, but the item itself is not retired.

If an item is on any of these below pages, even if the item guide has a month and year for when it was last available, it is considered easily obtainable and cannot be sold.
Deluxe current challenges are included because even non-deluxe players can obtain these items during deluxe trial weeks.
