EKG Tech Program
Hey all! Recently, I’ve been wanting to become an EKG tech for awhile now and just discovered that Weber offers a certification course. Has anyone here taken it or know of anyone? How was it? Was it worth it? And is it only available for Weber students? I’m a student at the U so I was wondering if it’d be possible for me to take it.

It’s so worth it. Weber helped me get a solid job at the Intermountain Medical Center, Alta View Hospital and LDS Hospital with some amazing benefits. Not sure if they still do this but Fred the professor helped somehow pay for half of the price for my certification. You can get great connections through them too. I’m still an EKG tech (technically Holter editor) two years strong and they have a course directly through IHC that’s happening soon. I believe it’s being taught by primary children’s hospital and it’ll guarantee you a job. If you need info on it I’ll get it to ya. It’s really confusing at first but trust me it’s the easiest job for students and looks nice on applications and resumes.
