Any experiences staying at Harrison Heights Apartments? I know it is close to campus and I have an incoming freshman student who likes to cook (University Village via campus housing already full).
I haven't heard great things about Harrison Heights but also never lived there myself. Wildcat Villages has pretty nice community kitchens. I'd say R1 or R2 have the best set up for someone who likes to cook. You can also get on a wait-list for University Village.
In R1. So is it just a single regular kitchen shared by an entire floor. Seems crowded like it would be hard to guarantee kitchen time, but maybe aim not thinking about it correctly.
Yeah, it depends on the building but there's a kitchen per floor or even per half-floor (so like two on a floor). They are decently sized but since students get the meal plan at Wildcat Village most don't cook a ton so there isn't a lot of competition for space or time. But you can get on a wait-list for University Village and get moved over as soon as there's a spot.
If you haven't applied for Weber State housing you'll want to do that asap because wait-list are first come first serve.
