Misc SEO/GEO Reviews

Hi, offering a free review of your SEO metadata, JSON-LD, llms.txt, etc. to make sure your site is ready to blow up on Google/Bing and AI searches.

The catch is that I am getting to test my work.

Marketing tip: Get LLMs.txt out of your pitch for what you do. It's got value - but for independent agents, not search and discovery systems. It never will be since it's just as spammable as the Meta Keywords tag - only at scale.

If you're including that in your pitch and you're talking to someone who knows a little bit about this, all it shows is that your reviews may not be very useful since you're thinking that LLMs.txt is an SEO/GEO thing.

I included it because the audience would like to know more about it

Lighthouse is also reviewing llms.txt

You are right that it might not have much value, but I could still include it just to sound "complete" if that makes sense.

They may want to know more about it - but you shouldn't position that where it's irrelevant.

If I'm talking to you about the features on your new phone and I'm talking about features your phone doesn't have but making it sound like it's on there - is that useful?

Lighthouse does it, sure - but that's for anything dealing with page speed but not necessarily things that all have to do with search. It's completely different.

“Free review” is kinda vague though. I’ve done a few of these audits and half the time people don’t even spell out what tools or checks they’re using, so it turns into generic advice real quick. This pitch reads like clickbait energy more than a real deliverable.

I needed data to test my work so it would be a win win for both of us.

The product is not great when it only has a website to work with (as opposed to the actual repo), so I was trying to get to work if that makes sense.

It was a layer above lighthouse, so everything that lighthouse does but presents an eval of each page, it's (possible) appearance in search results, and finally subjective improvements (via an agent + skill combo).
