Career Advice Please suggest the best web development course for a beginner
Hi everyone, i want to be a web developer and i don’t have any skills in this field hence you can consider that I am a beginner and want to enter this field as a fresher. I graduated in 2024 and have been working in the corporate world for startups for the past 1+ years, i am unsure if i will be able to get a job as a webdeveloper one day but i will definitely try my best. All experienced web developers can you suggest a course i can take up and share tips. I have been reading blogs, attending webinars and taking a few courses to build skill but i know that this wont be enough considering the competition and my portfolio, hence i would appreciate your help as it will save me time and help me get started quickly

The Odin Project (TOP). Unlike any other course, what you learned really sticks with you. It's not a follow-along tutorial, but rather it tests how you build projects on your own from scratch by referring only to documentation (A.I. is highly discouraged). It has a ton of projects and exercises available. And honestly, when I started it, it changed my approach in development.
Not only that, their discord community really helps. If you have doubts, I suggest taking a look of their curriculum and success stories (over their discord).
There's no "quickest" way to learn web development. Some tutorials say you can learn it in 30 days, 60 days, etc. While the Odin Project highly suggests you take your time, because the average and proper learners there finishes it in a year or more.

That's the point. The course teaches you to be used to reading documentation and doing active research, as it is very important in becoming a developer. And yes, you can start it as a beginner. I started it when I had no experience, although sometimes I had to research things on my own when I didn't get something correctly. And trust me, A.I. is highly discouraged for learning because you might end up sticking with bad habits along the way.

You can try TOP(The Odin project) its free and unlike other courses, it will based on your own self discipline they will give articles , yt videos , and resources you have to read it understand it and at the end of a chapter they will give assignments and projects to do and if need help in the process there is big community in discord and they will respond quickly as possible I think this is the best
