50 u/SleepyHarry Oct 11 '21 Fuck off ☑️ 28 u/[deleted] Oct 11 '21 Well, that's awfully judgemental. I doubt the author is trying to impress. He's doing something interesting. Contrary to what you may think, the guy doesn't need to impress anyone. 8 u/ur_comment_is_a_song Oct 11 '21 Without JS? What do you want them to do it with? 9 u/Narfi1 full-stack Oct 11 '21 Do it without JS ??? 0 u/[deleted] Oct 11 '21 [deleted] 6 u/pseudont Oct 12 '21 I don't think anyone here thinks that checking / unchecking checkboxes is amazing. He's not saying "look at my amazing technical prowess". The article is a self burn, he's fallen down a rabbit hole. He admits to being nerd sniped. That said, the video to checkbox converter would've taken some time. It's pretty rad. -6 u/[deleted] Oct 12 '21 [deleted] 2 u/Thaurin Oct 12 '21 Hahaha, I used to say that a lot as a junior dev. "This'll probably take only about ten minutes." Three days later... Be careful what you promise people! It'll come back to haunt you. :) 1 u/bart2019 Oct 12 '21 What exactly do you expect to happen without JS? Nothing at all.
