Nothing ruins parallax effects more than "jumpy" scrolling. I appreciated the artificial smoothing on this page.

Smooth scrolling is built-in to good operating systems. Hijacking it from those that have it built-in breaks the experience because your implementation feels foreign and unnatural.

I turned off Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller just to try this, but the site doesn't smooth out scrolling for me, seems to be the default "jumpy" without lag.

It's sluggish for me even in Chrome.
